Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Brimson would be classified as a fast player. We don't have anyone in that bracket other than Staines. And if Staines is stuck on a wing and a break is on the flank then he's of limited value, hence why Staines is EASILY our best overall option for fullback at the moment.
Kaoi Weekes was a former junior sprint star so would bring something we lack in explosive speed & x-factor. Jordan Hill probably the fastest in our club. Jahream Bula & Junior Tupou are not explosive fast but are smooth fast if that makes sense.

@CCTW is spot on. Everyone on here needs to grow some gonads & appreciate information when it is delivered.

They are rumours ffs & it's up to the reader to accept them as that. Shit if we didn't have people like @THE_POM & @CCTW this would be a very boring place. POM would have got his info from a source who he believed delivered legitimate info ... he/she can't control the source.

So everyone get over it & get on with it!
I like the bullshit spreaders such as the Pom.
It keeps me laughing at some of the gullible sheep on here…keep it up lads!

What's happened to Jason Saab? Was getting heaps of attention when he left the Dragons then had a mixed bag last year at Manly. Is he injured or just down the pecking order at Manly?

I have never really seen him do much good, but to be fair I never pay much attention to Dogs games. What I've seen this year has surprised me greatly. Very keen to see him tonight.

I'm hoping (preying), that he is one of those halves that just can't get it together early in his career, then all of a sudden at age 24 it clicks. We desperately need a miracle story like that.
wakeham was not very good in the Warriors trial, he came on for 15 mins in the dogs game and played well.
Jury still out, hope he plays well but have my doubts as an option for the year

Or else they are trying to find a spot for Doueihi after extending him until the end of next year, as maybe they can see 6 isn't his spot, hopefully they work Brooks out too
Im thinking we only re-signed Douhi because we knew Kenny/Brooks/Lauie and possibly Staines and Nofa were on the way out!!!
Think AD mite have got lucky....rite place at the rite tme,and n-one was interested in talking $900k

Get a mate who's a mad dogs supporter, was sad to see Wakeham go. Said he's nothing special but is one of those guys who can do a job.

We can’t just give up and wait for some young fella. By the time they come through we’ll no longer have the forwards who just arrived. If we are giving up and happy to run near last, that says everything you need to know about our management.
Im not saying we should give up trying to land a big fish, but we should be planning for it not happening because it doesn’t look likely until we stop embarrassing ourselves on and off the field.

We should have a plan B for someone in the halves is blocked from first grade at somewhere like Parra and Penrith. The Dolphins did that successfully with Katoa, and we should follow suit.

I think we have adequate halves in the building if they have the luxury of sitting back and ‘just playing their role’. Need some x-factor players in the backs to take the heat off them. I’ve been impressed with Naden but need to see a higher work rate from him.
Reckon his work rate has been fine, it's lack of quality ball he has been getting in attacking positions because he's been on the left and Doueihi only goes right. Hopefully that changes tonight...

I think we need a big or biggish fish to give the whole club (players, staff, members, fans) a lift. I think the only possibles are RTS, Jack Welsby (without heaping too much pressure on the kid) or George Williams.

Now we've missed MM, we need to be open to paying a big transfer fee to entice Warrington or St Helens to release one of them. Or perhaps we persuade Nofa he would be a superstar fullback in Super League & do a trade.

Further to that I think Nofa or Starford T'oa would be very attractive for UK Super League clubs and potential trade bait. Maybe Joffa too!!!

Just thinking outside of the square.
