Agree, i have yet to see him run with any type of aggression. Defensively, he is okay.
We have edge players and centres that just refuse to run a good hard line and into a hole.

Douiehi to centre, Laurie to fullback and Brooks to 5/8. 1 & 6 (and probably 7) aren't up for it but I think we just need to put up the best we have in each position. Tupou, Naden, Douiehi and Staines is a decent backline (staines weaklink imo). Really is 1,6 & 7 that we are seriously lacking in but realistically can't do anything this year about that. May as well try and settle on the rest of the line up in the meantime.

Honestly, Brooks...Twal...and Nofa all clearly have very, very, low IQs. I am not knocking that, but it translates onto the footy field also unfortunately.

Noffa would have to be one of the dumbest people, not just players ive ever seen. Twal, well very unfortunate and to have a half back, generally regarded as the smartest player in your team to be Luke Brooks, a guy who after a decade of media training still cant string together a sentence, says it all. Lowest IQ team on the planet.

We really panicked when resigning Douehi. If we had have left it to see how he started the season we would have had no issues of other clubs wanting to take him off us and would have got him for a few $100k less the way he has started the year.
But not us - we resign him and have to carry a passenger with a terrible attitude and inflated ego for another year.

We’ve played it smart with Brooksy though, we’ll definitely get him for his final five years for under $1m a season 😁

Funny though if Nofa threw that hospital pass that stains did tonite. You’d be calling the linch mob! Don’t think stains was much better than Nofa tonite. But agree he has really only just started and deserves a go. Tupou was a much better player than both tonite which is one shining light!

Stainesy was hot and cold.
