Not really much to get excited about, I remember in 03. First signing was Prince, I was raving to my mates we signed Scott Prince they all laughed at me.

I thought Toby sexton was pretty handy last year. Next best probably hawkins or Schneider but none inspire much hope. Jock Madden was probably on par with them all, which is extremely frustrating.

All those Brooks defenders that fought for him in the off season seem to have gone very quiet. ?

Same as the AD ones.

It’s strange we get a better pack and win the field position and both players have actually gotten worse. Never seen anything like it.

We should be having a serious look at Trindall from Sharks.

He resigned with Cronulla till the end of 2025. He will be the successor to Matt Moylan - highly unlikely they will let him go.

I agree with the sentiment - in my opinion he is the best up and coming half in the game. Would love to see him a WT.

I think we need someone established and we have the monet to get them. You put a Chad Townsend level half in the team and it will a different story.

Wakeham is a good enough halfback who does a job but he needs a dynamic 5/8. He's a good little organiser. Hughes/Munster, Reynolds/Mam, even Cleary/Lui. A steady hand with a risk taker. Keep Wakeham, dump Brooks and AD and get Welsby.

My old man is a firm believer that there must be someone on the board forcing his selection due to the amount of money he is being paid.

That would be logical to them, keep him in top grade because he gets paid top money, it does not matter if he cost us games, cause we cant waste that much money.
