Supporter strike

Go look through the Luke Brooks thread for examples of these 'fans' who obviously prefer to deathride the club over dropping their baby Brooks. Its beyond embarrassing.
Everything was going to change under Sheens mate. Attacking footy, Brooks unlocked, the entertainers are back mate.

Problem is they're entertaining the opposition fans. You could watch any of the last four games with the Benny Hill theme song over the top of it.

And if we were an English soccer club they’d have been weekly riots with overturned cars set alight and rubber bullets flying a decade ago
You should know better - English fans love supporting losers, that's why Association Football in the UK runs 7 divisions and they all get fans rocking up.

Mate, I haven't even watched 5 minutes of a game this year. I used to live and breath the Magpies, I embraced the merger and attended the 2005 GF. Loved the 2010 -2012 years, but since then I have been beaten into submission.
As I've said here before, the club needs to be "rewarded" for it's abject failure by being shipped off to Perth.
Two foundation clubs cementing themselves into a truly national competition.
I'll never watch the "Perth West's Tigers", but the competition would be the beneficiary.
The game has already lost me and many other rusted on Balmain/ Magpie supporters. The time is right to cut the likes of me loose.
Just ask Wayne Bennett and the QRL!
I'm really curious about people who truly don't watch NRL/Tigers any more but still want to post about it on the internet. It's weird.

What's it to you what other fans do? I missed the second half live on the Friday, should I have run that by you before posting after the fact?

People have fatigue watching the club lurch from failure to failure, not surprised they are losing interest in watching us stink it up.

Haven't watched a whole tigers game since last mid last year and maybe only 1 or 2. I can't sit there and continue to watch failure and my team not put in.
Plus I've broken so much stuff around my house over the years.
Now I don't care as much.
If you can watch that every week, more power to you.
I'll still enjoy bitching about them, got to have sometbing🤣

I'm in Perth so I'm all for it. Change the name though. The stench with this name would take along time to rub off.
Sean, is there a serious opportunity for a Perth team now or would it be a Western Reds 2 situation ?
I can’t see Perth getting the nod especially with people like Gould saying Southern Queensland needs another team, and the Central Coast of Sydney sitting there empty .

No he didn't miss part of a match - he claimed to have not watched even 5 minutes of footy in 2023 (not entirely clear if he means 5 mins of Tigers or 5 mins of any NRL).

So I'm genuinely curious for someone who hasn't watched any Tigers this year, or longer, why they would still come onto a forum to talk about it. Nothing specifically negative about it, and of course I can understand people losing interest, but I am surprised that loss of interest does not include ongoing forum chat about Tigers.

Most of us are really just here for the submarine thread

Each to their own then eh?
