Supporter strike

Sean, is there a serious opportunity for a Perth team now or would it be a Western Reds 2 situation ?
I can’t see Perth getting the nod especially with people like Gould saying Southern Queensland needs another team, and the Central Coast of Sydney sitting there empty .
There alot of Islander and New Zealanders over here with a decent league competition. You will definitely get the sponsorship and I'd imagine 20k a game. The problem is the travel times and costs associated. The NRL would love it because of the timezone. They could play a night game here at the 4pm timeslot over there.

As much as it would be good, I don't think you have the junior development here. Probably more than Victoria but still a way off.

If I had a bet I'd get the Ipswich/Logan/Toowoomba area. Massive junior systems there. Enough support and sponsorship as well.

Wests Tigers should be relegated then you ? and whoever can support group 6 or wherever they end up … hopefully 6 foot under or have there license revoked
Why you would wish for or encourage the relegation or demise of your side, I can't understand.

However if relegation could really work, I think it would be good for the depth of the game. I think it works well in Premier League. If Tigers deserved to be relegated, so be it, let them earn promotion back. I'd still support the club.

But of course Rugby League in Australia doesn't have that kind of depth in clubs or player pool, so it's entirely a fantasy. The Brits try and fabricate it in their own league system, but if league in Australia is a shallow pool, league in Britain is a puddle.

It's been a mostly negative experience for most WTs fans for a long time...

Having the license revoked imo would be a bit like having a terminally I'll rello that's been hanging on.for years with no quality of life finally passing

It'd be something of a relief

Very apt description.

We’ll have to wait and see. Don’t write off the Central Coast Bears either ( well just for a while anyway) because I have an old friend as part of their development team and they are pretty much ready to go when/if they got the nod.

I had a Brooks protest last year and it has been reinstated this year after round two. Going forward if Brooks attends games, I don't. I'm currently considering extending the Brooks ban to Foxtel viewing.

I don't expect anything to change at WT's or for anyone to care. WT's don't bother calling long-term members to ask why they have not renewed. Still waiting for that call, hopefully if it ever happens it is on a day that Brooks is rostered onto the call centre.

I knew a bloke from Russia called Wark Yararsov. Strike at your peril cos the NRL will destroy our club in a flash and shift us to Siberia.

I used to buy a tonne of merch each year, jerseys, training shorts/tops and a hoodie. Used to spend a fair bit. Would religiously renew my membership and would get one for my old boy too.

Haven't spent a cent on the club for the last few years and have absolutely no intention to while things are the way they are.

What happens if we are 0-8 and Brooks and Douhie are still not doing anything? Surely the supporters should just walk out at halftime.
