In the second half they looked to have taken the kicking duties off brooks. Which is when we seemed to start playing better. I would take all kicking duties and scrum feeding, in fact all duties except running the ball of brooks. Hi don’t care if he wears the 7 but make him the running 5/8 he is! All responsibilities gone we will see a marked improvement!!!

Good point and I agree. It's an important part of the halfback getting into the game and gaining a feel for the pace of the game. I was disappointed too Doueihi and Brooks took on the kicking duties, leaving Wakeham not involved for the first 10 minutes.

If that's the plan again, then Wakeham needs to get in early and have a run. A half can't wait 10 minutes before touching the ball, the game weirdly slips by when that happens.

I know you mean Hastings but this smacks of Braith Anasta being put in the front row and then leaving to forever dis our club on 360. The only part that didn't make sense was "decent 1/2 back". Another retiree loser we helped bump up a super balance 🙁
 
Gotta feel for wakes gets told by the club you're in our halves for the rest of the year then the next day the mitch pearce news breaks
 
I haven't seen anything to get excited about this kid but he has an opportunity to win a contract for a couple of years. I hope he shows us that he can play at this level.

I also hope they make him the no 1 play maker and just let Brooks and Doueihi run it.
 
I hope he goes well , he has only had a couple games with us so let’s get behind him and the whole team to upset the donkeys and get our season back on track , on our day we are competitive we just need to finish off attacks and maybe he just may upset the crowd and help us win one , nothing better than a win against all odds , and this game is that game against all odds
 
From what i have seen so far he is not great,however he is an alternative to the incumbent who has been a long term disappointment.On that basis he is worth being given opportunities to see if he can become part of the answer to our team
