The club realised Sheens was cooked in 2012,it honestly amazes me that the idiots decided to bring him back as coach more than 10 years after he was sacked and he is in his 70's and not coached at this level for over a decade.Absolute shambles

It's a good forward pack but Hass destroyed us last night. He is a generational talent. I don't think I've seen a prop at his level ever.

We often think about the last 10 years in respect of poor performance on field, but I think our problems started during 2008 when there was a period of about 6 months when we had no CEO after Steve Noyce resigned and was replaced by Scott Longmuir.
Let’s just say Longmuir and Sheens were heading in two different directions. Longmuir was sacked after 6 months after the board backed Sheens.

I’ve been reading up on the history of the club and there doesn’t seem to be a period where people weren’t getting sacked after political fallout.
It would be naive to think some players haven’t been dragged into the office politics over the years.

I don't think it's any one individual.
A common theme is under-performing. Why is it that players come to us and drop a level? A series of coaches/ player turnover etc has failed to change anything and has just made it worse.
We were on the precipe already but the slide into the abyss really started to happen when we lost three of the Big Four. Up until then we had enough talent to keep semi-competitive - since then there has been no real spirit or direction.

imagine you are talented and willing new recruits and you came into a new job where everyone bludges and let you do all the hard work. how long will it take for you to say im bludging too.

This is fact … I’ve never seen a human as large as him being that fit. He is probably fitter than our entire 1-7 combined

His motor on the field seems unlimited

Just being let down by the obvious guys that can't perform, playing below cup standards.
