It's a clear message that they have looked after him throughout his career and offered to look after him one last time. If he rejects this offer it will be him walking away from the Raiders not the Raiders walking away from him. And obviously they want that known.

It’s like none of you guys realise that all these players attitudes and on field performances are being cruelled by the total lack of creativity and ball playing abilities of the imposters we have had in the halves for last 9 years .. they are incapable of setting up,the support players, of giving them time and space or putting any doubt in the minds of the defence.. FFS they cannot do it all by themselves considering the hospital passes they are always on the end of!

But would Fifita be much use to you right now - on his money? I mean he's one of the freakiest athletes I've seen and at his best he's almost impossible to stop. But ... he's never struck me as someone you can rely on when all of the chips are pushed into the middle of the table. High impact but low motor. To get the best out of Fifita I think you really need a winning environment where players are constantly held accountable. Put him in this current WT outfit and he's more likely to coast. I like Holbrook and think he's a pretty good developer of talent. But even he must be frustrated with a guy who is as inconsistent as he is destructive.

The thing is 6 is a lesser issue than 7. We don't have a guy who can ball play and create and has a good kicking game etc.

Brooks is playing 7 because he is our best half by miles. Brooks is an average 6. It blows my mind.
