Maybe but lawyers don’t think like that.
Remember they make the law, study the law and administer the law and just love to file their legal muscle.
He’d spend all night discussing a potential case more than he would analysing where the problems lay.
You see, we have two people in key roles( a lawyer/sponsor and a corporate CEO) who don’t really understand the vagaries of footy.
That’s a big part of the problem.
If you slotted a Gus Gould type in there he would isolate the key issues re the football side in about a week.
My other issue with Lee is he bloody sponsors half the teams in the comp, how is that not a conflict of interest.
If he really gave a toss about the Tigers he would cancel all other sponsorships with other N.R.L teams and send the extra cash the Tigers way.

I thought blowing the club up and starting again was basically what Tigers did in 2022? And we did it before that in 2000 (the start of the merge) and 2014 (the restructure where Wests took control).

I am not clear what Corey Parker is proposing. It's all well and good to destroy something, which is easy, but what do you do next?
No, we haven't even tried this yet. What off field changes have to there been? Same board, same chairman, San m me CEO, add and as far as we know same management structure internally. Every single element of the club is a shambles, both on and off to the field.

First we need to get a better board, people who can ask relevant questions, and ensure high standards and due diligence become the norm, not the exception.

And then they can start working on each level of the organisation.

As one of the guys on the Wests Tigers pod said the other day, it needs a full scale independent external review. Only way the true muppets will ever get found out and the club might then get off the bottom of the pile.
Not sure bangfo5,but didnt Smith conduct one of those reviews years ago within our club and then we got Pascoe....I dont know, same shit different year...

Wondering when the next Wests Tigers board meeting is due? The CEO seems very confident he’s going nowhere, at what point does the term “crisis meeting” start getting tossed up, what have we lost now 10 straight?! If they resolve to just blame another coach this club has lost me.
This club virtually lost me when I asked for Taylor to come and address a Q&A at one of the get togethers I organised several years ago...Their response was no worries until they found out it was a FORUM get together and they renigged...So I asked if an injured player or a player not playing on the day could come and meet some members and fans...SORRY no one can come on GAME DAY they have to be with the SQUAD...absolute garbage and thats why I congratulate cochise for the work he does with the Ambush,I got so stuffed around I couldnt bother anymore...The only good thing was I met some great forum members and we had a couple of terriffic days together...

It’s one thing to do a review their has to be a willingness to instill change from it. The only way that comes close to happening is the NRL would need to run it & have total power to instill change.

Cannot see that happening unless we went broke.

Someone has to come last so footy results won’t be enough for them to interfere.

Isn't the story that the idea got floated by a Newscorp journalist at some official media thing and WT ran with it? Maybe Pascoe on the nose beers at the time of hearing this.
Were at Grappa in Leichardt having a lunch or something doing some media thing and Rothfield of all people asked Sheens if he would like to coach.

The way this club is going we will remain a media punching bag and fan’s are already starting to get bitter and will soon stop showing up. We are not at rock bottom yet.

We have been losing for over a decade and still break fan member records. Population density is growing, we can loose for another decade and we will still have sponsors as we will still have fans.

I get what you’re saying and agree in part the front office has to do major stuff ups for sponsors to go hey this is high risk low return stuff.

If Gould was part of our club there wouldn't be any media focus - they run scared of him - pack of ar$#lickers.

Such a WTs thing to do... take advice on such a crucial issue as head coach, from a booze soaked lush like rothfield
I think sheens was just waiting for someone, anyone, to suggest him making a coaching comeback. The fact that buzz was the only one would thought it should have raised a few red flags.

Realistically as a sponsor, we would be a perfect partner, it’s really all about advertising so who better than the tigers to always be in the news? Your company logo on the tv and papers everyday for pittance of what you would have to pay legitimately….

Pascoe would have you believe all that.

Believe what you want but reality vs belief are 2 different things.

Lee owns major naming rights sponsorship and chairman. He isn’t going to step down. It’s given him a media platform to build his profile.

We came last & have been ordinary for over a decade (on and off the field) of not playing finals and years of bad press and still secured new sponsors in the off season but hey believe what you want.
