Poor guy but it's a blessing in disguise for us. He cannot seriously be in the long term plans of the club. This makes us try other options.

Bad management by the club. Should never have been resignedBad luck for Doueihi. Will be hard to come back and if if does, he will likely be even slower with less lateral movement.
Also bad luck for the club. Re-signed him early and will likely be paying a chunk of our cap and have a top 30 spot taken by somebody who will miss a chunk of next year.
Broken collarbone is 2 months at leastHow long will naden be out for?
We literally have been doing this with doueihi, maybe the worst defensive half in the NRL, and doueihi looks way worse with ball in hand than LaurieYou can't put a guy who's defence is as bad as Laurie at 6.

Yeah terrible for AD,but as good human beings we should NEVER laugh at another man's misfortune...he at least has played in the toughest comp in the world and has been reasonable without being a superstar .I follow the team for players that put in each week. He’s been rubbish for some time now. Had a crack today and got injured. Nothing personal but, next.

AgreeTodd. Bateman is a small forward. When he moved into the backs after Naden/ Douhie injuries he looked good. . Runs hard, defends well and throws a good pass . Anyone who saw Laurie in Reggie’s today would not be advocating his return. Wakeham was ok but is a reserve grader.Time to try some Sheenius.
Bateman to 6

Yes, I wonder who made that call ? I would have thought Brooks was the backup especially as he really nailed that late penalty.Clubs out of ideas when Api is kicking for the game leveling goal. It’s at the stage where Bateman goes 6.
Such a clown organization.
Well we have been told repeatedly that everyone had to be able to play two positions in 2023. Given the current scenario we shall see if that’s fact or fiction.AgreeTodd. Bateman is a small forward. Given its happened now and if the recovery goes well, He’d be back in time for the start of next season. Unless it takes longer to heal, good chance he’s back by Round 1-2.if it is his ACL same knee then I'd say that is it for AD at the club if it takes a year. Maybe he gets back for mid 2024 ?
Time for Laurie to play 6
Api looked more like a halfback than Brooks today. I actually don't think that's a bad idea at all.Maybe API half Brooks 6 Jake at 9
Which aspect? Wakeham or Talau?Sad stuff
There’s a tendon from your hamstring that’s used to reconstruct the ACL and it’s fed along the same path through your knee as ACL and screwed into your femur, it’s called a graph. What's a graph?
only reason i laughed ,didnt think we resigned himI didn’t laugh. I’m not his friend. My only connection to his is footy. His footy is shit.
