Doueihi does ACL again

Poor guy but it's a blessing in disguise for us. He cannot seriously be in the long term plans of the club. This makes us try other options.

Bad luck for Doueihi. Will be hard to come back and if if does, he will likely be even slower with less lateral movement.

Also bad luck for the club. Re-signed him early and will likely be paying a chunk of our cap and have a top 30 spot taken by somebody who will miss a chunk of next year.

Bad management by the club. Should never have been resigned

Broken collarbone is 2 months at least

You can't put a guy who's defence is as bad as Laurie at 6.

We literally have been doing this with doueihi, maybe the worst defensive half in the NRL, and doueihi looks way worse with ball in hand than Laurie

Yeah terrible for AD,but as good human beings we should NEVER laugh at another man's misfortune...he at least has played in the toughest comp in the world and has been reasonable without being a superstar .

AgreeTodd. Bateman is a small forward. When he moved into the backs after Naden/ Douhie injuries he looked good. . Runs hard, defends well and throws a good pass . Anyone who saw Laurie in Reggie’s today would not be advocating his return. Wakeham was ok but is a reserve grader.

Well we have been told repeatedly that everyone had to be able to play two positions in 2023. Given the current scenario we shall see if that’s fact or fiction.

if it is his ACL same knee then I'd say that is it for AD at the club if it takes a year. Maybe he gets back for mid 2024 ?
Time for Laurie to play 6

Given its happened now and if the recovery goes well, He’d be back in time for the start of next season. Unless it takes longer to heal, good chance he’s back by Round 1-2.
