Absolutely. Live from behind the goal line, he was great.

It also goes to show that having one small choke can detract from an effort. I feel for him. He was devo. He seems like someone who will bounce back better though.

He was great. I really like him.

I think Sheens stuffed up not playing him there earlier. It was obvious that he was our best option when he got some time there recently.

Maybe he isn't the answer but he deserves a good shot. I think he can make it as well.

Earl at least trys to justify why we should keep Luke,he is a fan as we are fans of many players,having said that Paws absolutely hammered me when I said we need to stick with Madge until his contract was up,but Paws kept telling me how wonderful it will be with Sheens,Benji,Farah and Brooks will shine...he hasnt been seen or heard of since we are 0/6...at least Earl sticks to his convictions and still has his input...

Note: Api straightens. Brooks straightens. The outside players could hold their assignments instead crabbing sideways. End result. Space and players hitting the ball at speed. Simple not rocket science.
That was a good gameplay. I enjoyed it.

In order for Brooks to crack a 40% win rate in first grade, he'd need to win the next 6 games in a row

Fogarty from the raiders has a win percentage of 47% In order to match Fogarty he'd need to win the next 20 games in a row.

Townsend from the cowboys has a win percentage of 53%

In fact I had a quick look at all the halfbacks that played in 2023 and the only halfback with a worse win percentage over their careers is.... Tanah Boyd.

But please, explain to me how losing again was a 'big stfu' ?
 
Did notice the footage at the end of the game how the players and even Mitch Moses all seemed to surround Brooks- i.e.pats on the the back and head, checking in - supporting the theory that he carries the weight of the loss more than most. It was a mixture of good to see the support he was getting but also demonstrating how it weighs heavily on the whole side, and of course Brooks himself.

I'm not on twitter so I didn't see that.

How good was it seeing him carve it up. It was freaken awesome. I think someone posted those same words in another thread. Interesting. Could be the same person.

I didn't see it as Brooks taking the blinkers off but I get why that would be said but this week he really went for the big play and it came off.

Interesting point. I couldn't believe some of those passes that he threw. I watched the whole game and I even posted on here during the game. Brooks had a real good game but so did Tupou, Bateman, Api and Staines.

I think Brooks has been solid with some critical mistakes a couple of times but he really showed class out there yesterday.

It was good seeing Api really focus on Brooks there.

Just a pity the club doesnt give two shits about the fans and the whole, ya know, win or lose thing. Better wrap a 10 year veteran in cotton wool because again he sucks at his million dollar, 80 mins a week, day job. Zero sympathy, do better or piss off to Super League.
