Jamie Humphreys but he's earmarked to take over when DCE hangs em up in 2025. would be tough to prise him away from them.

Manly have multiple back up fullbacks and five eights. Also moving 1 player doesent mean it's a swap deal - could mean we open a spot to get someone from a different club. Think we will see at least 2 players let go before we play next

I've never agreed with this. For me it depends if the team will be stronger overall. If your weakening a position that can be covered easier than the position the player is moving to, then it generally provides an overall stronger line up.

Moving a hooker to halfback is a reasonable move as the halfback role is more important. Not that I would move Api. I would just bring Laurie in who will play an energiser bunny type role at 6.

I tend to agree in some ways, that's why I opened with 'as a rule'. I think it is contextual. The argument becomes is moving a 9/10 hooker to become a 6 or 7/10 halfback worth it.

I guess it can be very situational, but, like I said, for most situations, I think the rule fits.

He made his comeback in Jersey Flegg last week after a broken jaw playing the whole match but is nowhere to be seen in team lists this week. Hmmmm

While I don't think Talau is a great loss, are we going down the same path as last year by loaning players to clubs in contention?

This was stupid last year and it's stupid again. No other club does this.

Yeah that's a huge mistake.

Fox would've probably bailed first chance he got though.

Said it before and stick by it.... but Talau hasn't really ever shown anything. His brothers are like permanently languishing in RMC.

He seems like a nice kid but yeah, not first grade quality imo.
