Realistically the only players Manly would offer us in a swap deal for Talau would be Harper, Tuipolotu and Cooper Johns.

Of those three the best option for us is surely Johns. He has looked pretty solid in all of his first grade appearances in the last couple of seasons. Plays with a smile on his face and comes from good stock. He has way more upside than Brandon Wakeham, and with Douhei out and Daine Laurie on the nose would probably get the chance to prove himself in the halves for us.

Given how dreadful Kaeo Weeks was last week maybe Manly would be unwilling to let Johns go. Wouldn’t be in their best interests, especially given Schuster’s fitness concerns.

Harper and Tuipolotu are woeful. Bringing them in would be very hard to take.
 
Tigers will have spent 11 years and about to be 12. Failing.

There is no premiership window for us. Band-Aid fixes year after year.

Goodluck to all the supporters, including myself. The stigma going around, the negativity is going to take 5 -7 years to get rid of now. Unless consistency occurs and the ceo and board get themselves out of the limelight, all we can expect is more of the same.

This story about Tommy Talau ? Is it real ? I remember season 2021 he was one of very few that even resembled a proper center ,good step ,cut back inside ,even seemed to combine well with Nofo but that was 2021 !
Hes only had 1.5 games since and was not enough to even form an opinion .
Tired of hearing about departures and no arrivals

Poor look on the Tigers for not swapping him when we could have.
Poor look on Talau for walking out on the club which held onto and resigned him off a season ended injury.

Probably just his management trying to force tigers to resign him
