Because realistically, for someone on talaus level, the club would likely only get a backup or discard (Harper/Parker) in return. That will probably be the tigers only option.
Parker is way better than Talau

Latu Fainu would be an incredible get, probably the most promising 5/8 coming up in the league who’s gonna be behind Schuster and DCE.
We have his brother Sione at the club currently….. I doubt Latu is taking Schuster’s spot anytime soon
He recently signed the largest contract for a player to never play FG, has massive wraps and we should definitely be seeing if he wants an easier path to regular first grade
He’s 17 currently but isn’t too far off playing or being capable to play first grade. For anyone who hasn’t watched him I’d suggest to do so, he’s the real deal pretty sure he was the HM player of the year for the competition.

Yep, but with Schuster getting back in shape and looking pretty sharp may be difficult for him to get in the squad
Him and Feledy caused some serious damage together and tore the whole league up - his former skipper and brother may make the negation a little easier
