I disagree a little. I have always said the Cowboys were a myth and won't do anything with that halves pairing. They got lucky last year because Drinkwater had an incredible season and carried the creativity. Townsend and Dearden was never going to work long term. However, Townsend and a creative 6 would work.

When you look at what happened with the Titans you can understand why such a premium is attached to top quality halves. There just aren't that many. You either have one and reap the rewards or you don't and you're never far away from the season imploding.
