Would prefer Matamua get a spot on the bench over one of Ofa or Twal, and Blore in over Talau.

Would be nice to see Simpkin get minutes this week, if he's going to do a 30 sec cameo may as well put another foward on the bench.

Tim Sheens said Brent Naden is due to return from a collarbone injury in Round 9 and the former Panther will likely replace Starford To’a in the backline. Meanwhile, Sheens also said Shawn Blore had a strong game after being dropped to NSW Cup and he could return via the bench in place of Tommy Talau.

Arguably the best team available.

It probably is and it's uninspiring. I'd like to see Laurie, Reilly and Matamua get some chances this year. We are just building for the next couple of seasons anyway.

A ball playing 13 would be great for us. Matamua might get the job done. Brooks at this point is easily the best half on our roster but Laurie and Reilly deserve a chance to show what they've got.

Other than that and Talau on the bench (ignoring the 6/7 of course) - it's about as good as it gets.

Also must be a reasonably bad illness for the team to rule out AJ 3+ days out from the game & not list him to give him every opportunity to recover.
