What a piece of 💩
You most probably could and still have money left over 🙂Sign em all aye
Smithies looks like he plays very tough. He’s young and will only get better, not sure we need him just yet, but could be one to keep an eye on for when he’s officially off contract a season or two down the track.I will keep saying this. These are the players the club should and could get either this year or next and not overspend:
Pearce is off contract end of the season but it would be a waste of money to bring him back for 1 season even though he would ask for 2 year contract.
- Morgan Smithies - 22 years - Wigan Lock-forward - off contract - amazing work rate, rate very highly. Always get good players from the Wigan or St Helen's production line. This kid has been playing SL since he was 18 years old and has also represented England.
- Connor Tracey - natural footballer who could play anywhere in the backline but look at him either at 6 or 1
- Lachlan Lam - Good creative controlling halfback playing Super League with Leigh. I think he is very under rated
- Kayal Iro - strong centre who just needs a chance. We can give him that chance and more.
- Luke Metcalf - another natural footballer who might look for another opportunity depending on Shaun Johnson decision to play again next season. Injuries are the only issue i have with him.
- Bailey Sironen - Bring him back home - strong player - always does his job without fanfare. Put him in the backrow either at Lock or Edge and he give him the link up role like Yeo and he will flourish.
Lam or Tracey have much more upside. I would personally try to grab both as our halves for next season.
There could be a couple of other reasons. Think Sheens has said he wants to get sone miles in Blore’s legs, as well as some form and confidence. Another full game in KOE can help with that. Also maybe having Talau in the shop front could potentially help us drag a trade out of Manly and a player swap this year rather than just lose him cold at the end of the season with nothing in return. Just a guess on that last point.Because Blore covers the back row while Talau provide cover for the outside backs and back row. In a time when their are multiple HIAs a game then you need to be able to cover your backs on the bench imo. It was Kepaoa and without him its Talau or even with him if Kep is playing centre. With the bench this week anyone can be injured and you can still cover them. Realistically without injures then most teams only use 2 players off the bench for any significant period.
We definitely need a proper lock, have for years.Smithies looks like he plays very tough. He’s young and will only get better, not sure we need him just yet, but could be one to keep an eye on for when he’s officially off contract a season or two down the track.
Tracey would be a good acquisition, plays well in a number of positions.
Lam didn’t set the world on fire in his few games at 7 for the Roosters, but he is young and should be approaching his prime. How’s he going in the Super League ?
Iro goes ok, but doesn’t look very fast, I’m not certain he’s as good or any better than To’a who is under rated.
Metcalfe is very quick, but also very injury prone.
Bailey Sironen gets injured far too often for my liking. Who is he better than of our current back rowers ?
Heck NRL.com had DCE moving to 5/8 so that Kyle Flanagan can take Nr7 at Manly..Perhaps shuster was tanking to get an early release?
?????? No idea what u meanIf you don't learn from your past your destined to destroy your future.
All Kudos to Elijah Taylor who tackled himself to death playing for us (at least for a few years). We definitely need a proper lock, have for years.
Our last genuine #13 was Elijah Taylor and Dene Halatau.
We keep playing basic props as the #13, we need some one more dynamic.
Halves, centre and lock are positions we need to strengthen.

You could substitute the *'d players out for other alternatives but that's the positions we need to be targeting.
Why?All Kudos to Elijah Taylor who tackled himself to death playing for us (at least for a few years).
No he wasn't a proper Lock. Great player, not a lock.
He could ball play but for some reason after 2016 it stopped. Why?
I think he's a genuine lock.
Please don’t put words in my mouth I never mentioned mental health at all , this is why we get pissed of with the woke brigade, u twist everything to suit ur agenda. I mentioned the race card which has been brought up by people on NRL 360 , even wigthon said he wanted to play with his brothers , so please get it right before u verbal me .Everyone is entitled to giving their opinion on the forum and the rules are pretty tolerant of this.
What truth is this? You've brought race (and mental health) into the conversation.
I don't see why this is a suitable topic to be discussing on a footy forum, especially as I don't think this is the reason the Rabbitohs get a leg up - in the NRL.
In all honesty I think mental illness is a rather delicate topic.
It’s good there is no more signings leaks from the club any more but god I miss them haha I’d love to know who the club are chasing for next year
It proves Wighton is nothing but a grub, back stabbing the club that made him for false hope of winning a GF with the Rabbitohs. Please don’t put words in my mouth I never mentioned mental health at all , this is why we get pissed of with the woke brigade, u twist everything to suit ur agenda. He’s disiillusional, Wests Tigers are more chance of winning a GF in the next 5 years than what the Rabbitohs are.
Still true though that commentNot with our current coaches

I suspect the mortgage would have been arranged by his manager, or perhaps the Clydesdales themselves. Therefore, no need for Dell to provide the details.Just show up in his mortgage account, what bullshit!
He gave them his mortgage bank details, right. No surprise.
Sorry Spartan, I believe you’re wrong. The problem is not all of us could see how important a decent 7 was, and the other compounding problem was the powers that be were part of that side of the family.I am a Bateman fan, however.
We all can see that an Organising Half is far mor important than a 2nd Rower
I like the way you added Curren without having to swap him for ice. That the way I like it build and create, now from the bottom end who do we wanna cull?We definitely need a proper lock, have for years.

Thanks for ur reply, I have no intention to hurt any one , but it seems that we get shot down as soon as we try to give are view , u mentioned latrell getting abuse , which I totally agree , no one should bring his family into any conversation. But latrell is one of the dirtiest players going around yet he never gets called out for his actions thus leaving the door open for the crazy twitter lot . Again I will call it if I see something that is wrong but I will never cross the line to make my point , it’s a shame the woke brigade don’t follow the line , cheers and thanks for ur commentsMy apologies but I specifically responded to a post that referred to the race and mental health card argument. So perhaps there's been a misunderstanding.
(And this is why I hate introducing these matters in conversations as they disrupt unrelated threads).
Given the racial abuse Latrell copped at a game not too long ago, and the fact I wouldn't personally like to see him leave the game due to something like this (as well as the subsequent threats his partner received on social media) I'm somewhat sympathetic to this. It's not a joking matter.
I am however more concerned how teams like the Rabbitohs and Roosters continually exploit the salary cap and manipulate the NRL in other ways. But at the same time wish my club was the same - not corrupt but outwitting or outsmarting them.
Please know that I was not trying to discourage you from voicing your opinion on either topic but moreso saying there are larger concerns at play here. We suck and I am more focused on the Wests Tigers.
