Same, I check if there is any update on a new half joining. I check on google to see if there's any rumoured negotiations, there is nothing atm. I'm hoping it's all under Wraps atm and there are people being spoken to atm. I'm hoping Sheens isn't digging his heels in and not trying to bring anyone new in after Douhis injury. It's the perfect excuse.

St. Helens have known Dodd wants to go to the NRL from the very beginning. He's been pretty open about it. Whilst he's under contract and the club could block any attempt from the NRL they know he's a far more valuable trade piece now as opposed to him letting his contract run down and leaving for nothing. He could force a move by throwing his toys out of the cot but no one wants to see that. Look, he's an asset with tremendous value. Saints have some outstanding young talent coming through - but it's probably eighteen months away from making the jump to first grade. Which means if Dodd left, say, at the end of the season we'd have to find a way of filling his shoes over the short term which is problematic. They could move Lomax to the seven spot with Jack Welsby taking the six role. But any injury and we'd be screwed. I don't want Brooks and I'm sure the club doesn't see it as a viable proposition (even if he's open to moving to SL). He's on big money at the Tigers and given his age he'd want a 3 or 4 year deal. Out of the question. A big transfer fee sounds fantastic. But you can't play cash at seven. I think a straight money offer wouldn't be an automatic hit. But if someone could find say a couple of talented youngsters (not scrubs) who would be prepared to go the opposite way for a couple of years to develop their game I think that would be received with far greater enthusiasm. Whilst the suggestion has been that Dodd might not want to move to a club which always seems to be lurching from one crisis to the next - I don't think he would rule it out. I know Canberra are sniffing post-Wighton and have plenty of cap space the fact that so many of the Canberra players have wanted out under Ricky Stuart might prove a far bigger problem to them getting Dodd - especially as all three of Hodgson, Bateman and George Williams (none of whom have ever proven problematic outside of the Raiders) are English.

Me to about 30 to 40 times a day,
Im a retired oldie plenty of time on my hands, but at 77 not sure if I will ever see them going well again.

Don’t worry mate things will get better that’s the Beauty of loosing these games it’s going to force the club to be better in all aspects. us fans will not cop for to much longer we deserve better
 
Good luck to him, but seriously is this the best the recruitment team of an nrl club can do.
We couldn't even get the starting half.
