We won’t resign Brooks and I’m not suggesting we resign Brooks, but I’m sure the Broncos would take him in a heartbeat as a backup instead of Madden.
The point is many supporters like to criticise the club over every player that is let go, the ones let go at the end of 2022 are not good enough to help us moving forward,

Brisbane has a decent side, Ezra has done pretty well with the side. Pretty sure Jock won't make it in nrl mainly based on his defence he gets bumped off too much

You are missing the point of the criticism.
During the offseason, even blind Freddy could see that if one of our halves went down, we had no backup.
The club went all in on current international halves recruitment and seemed so confident of nabbing one of them, they let our depth go. It is ridiculous, you have to have contingencies. Ours was a last minute purchase of Wakeham the week the trials began.
0-7 is the result.

Watch a lot of qcup, he’s a good signing , solid player, good pace, safe hands.

Brisbane finally got a bit of a run on and madden kicks it dead. Ezra is quite a handful for his size and seems to be in everything. Is a good foil for Reynolds. I forgot madden was playing during the game. (Edit; until he kicked it dead)
