Just good to see smiling faces. Have to s say Api was outstanding. Didn't think he was captain material but can see he has really taken to the role, and has got the forwards going with him. Stefano showed some real aggression last night last night and can only see him getting better and better. And Twal is developing some leg speed - who would have thought.

Our defence was so good, but really it's been good all year with a hiccup against the Broncos Most of the tries scored against us have been through kicks and we looked vulnerable again last night so there's work that needs to be done there.

Good post, actually our defence pretty much all year has been great, plenty of teams under our defence/ - points, ATM,funny how the Press doesn’t say anything about that!!!

Hopefully Nof has had a wake up call with being dropped as we need him with the injury to Staines. Really impressed with him last night and Toa lately as well. If we have Kepoa fit he takes Talaus spot on the bench as he has real impact and utility value.

I can't remember a better wet weather performance.
The boys played for each other, somehow had wonderful ball handling for the conditions, and had real old-fashioned ticker - right down to the bell.
Sure, there were stand-out moments, but more than even that, we played as a team.
One for all and all for one.

It reminded me a bit of the Broncos win in brissy about 03 or 04 I think Robbie mears and Ben Jeffery played, benji too.... Kingy taking off his shirt and the come stators nearly gagging 🤣

Was a fantastic tackle, even though he most likely knew the momentum would still carry him across the line. Other fullbacks we've had would have made a half arsed attempt, but Bula put his body on the line just on the off chance he stops him. Nofo's tackle as critical as i and many others have been of him is in the same vain, there seems despite the results a belief in the camp and a togetherness we haven't really had for a long time.

I cant remember the last game where nearly every player put in that huge team effort. I hope we can repeat next week and moving forward. Naden probably the least contributing with a silly shoulder charge but he's been better in other games. Talau probably didnt add anything but simpkin was great and giving Api a spell is really worthwhile as he puts in 150%.

- Bula had a great 2nd game , wow so good having a fullback with no fear
- Kick chase was really good across the board
- Best brooks game ever i'd say. great kicking and yep that last kick to chew up another 10 seconds
- forwards really stepped up, papalii , stefano , twal, klemmer all had turns breaking through and bateman is just always there.

Lots to enjoy but still a classic heart attack game at the end just riding them home 😀
