Taafe isn't a fullback, just a reasonable back up in that role. Definitely a 6, maybe a 7 and would handle the 14 role well.

With south’s signing wigthon , Hawkins and taafe , really don’t have much of a further at south’s , also south’s will be under cap pressure ( or they should be ) gee it can’t be that hard to poach one or two of them with a pay upgrade and a 1st grade spot

The only option would be Hunt and I feel would be an excellent move for them. But that depends on the state of the Dragons, Griffen and Hunt.

Also the contracting period start in November so half the contract money has been paid by now. Good time to sign players for this yr if you have cash as it's half a contract

Yeah, normally payments are split over the year.
9 rounds in and more than half the salary should’ve been paid. But in saying that who knows what deals get approved. Bulldogs have cash to spend for next and following years so that’s not really an issue for them like us. It’s the cattle shortage.
