Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He pops up in the middle on both sides of the
ball a lot too. I don't think it's a bad idea Jedi.
Adds another dimension to our poor attack also
Or we could have used the guy who was one of the NRLs best players last year. Might have been worth a shot before trading him off.

For that $ for the next 2 years, good riddance.
Wasn't long ago he was plodding, only looked
good last year playing with a bunch of rookies
and Musgrove with Twal & Utoikamanu out and
not having Klemmer in the team at that point.
He's secured the bag too, I'm not upset by this

Problem is if klem or Stef go down then someone like Ofahengaue and his experience is really needed, I really hope they have a plan in place and someone decent coming to take his spot
Please Sheenius
The plan release Hastings/madden - fail , no backup until desperate Canterbury castoff picked up
The plan was Ciraldo - fail, no back up
The plan was Moses - fail, no back up
The plan release joe - ??? See Hastings above

You keep banging on about him being a prop.
All of his best footy last year was played at 13.
We are weak in this position.
'Keep banging on'? I've mentioned he's a prop because he's in the prop rotation this year.

Whether or not you think he's a better 13 is irrelevant to his position in the squad this season.

For the record, whilst I don't rate him as an out and out lock, I'm a fan of his and I certainly think his versatility makes him able to cover lock. I also think that playing big minutes in the middle last year saw him regularly found out in defence, particularly on lateral effort plays.

But again, where we think he should play is irrelevant to where he is viewed in the squad and subsequently why he's been moved on.

100%.
These blokes have never heard of contingency.
They plan ahead like children do.

It’s not irrelevant.
My point is our coaching staff stuffed him around this year after signing him last year based upon his efforts AT LOCK!
Benji doesn’t like him at lock.
His form slumps and we trade him. They are bloody idiots.
