I'm happy for him on a personal level since he seems like a polite and nice bloke but that video inspires no confidence whatsoever. He's a bit slow unfortunately and as with most of his highlights, they seem to be things like him picking up a loose ball and running the distance with it or from years and years ago.

We don't need one. Sheens already said he wants to re-sign him, so the fans will be happy.

Cmon Earl the club has been totally focussed on trying to find a combination that works with Brooks - both off and on the field - and still is
The only ever suggestion that we may need a 7 aside from Brooks was when Hastings was signed, and the coach that brought him over has been shipped off with Hastings not far behind.
Now it seems club has got him as a running 6 and have gone hard after two established 7's who have both rejected being paired with him and the club. Out of all the coaches and players that have come and gone during our years of failure Brooks has never been held accountable for his part in that with anyone at the club. The fans who have stuck solid through all the years of disappointment are entitled to question why and what he can offer moving forward.

And just so I’m clear

I would prefer to lose every game this year and the club not be able to extend brooks and we see him leave

Rather than we win 6 games this year and he gets a 2 year extension
