Some praising him though...
I genuinely think he's done in the NRL, even at a contractual lower level deal.

Bush footy or maybe super league await but he looked like he wasn't even up to #Cup standard.

I sure if Laurie gets a release he will shine somewhere else
Just like others we rubbished and got rid of
Peachy a regular 1ST grade center at Penrith
Chee Kam a regular 2nd row at Souths
Liddle and Madden look happy too
 
If we be honest they had no ball, our halves and hookers are ineffective and not much ability in the outside backs.
The starting forward pack were on top of their opponents when they had a fair slice of possession.

None of these players would be anywhere near our top 17.

Some of his attempts at tackles were primary school level

  • Garner lost his spot to Hosking in first grade. He'll see some FG over origin and that's it, unless there are a few injuries.
  • Peachey is only there because Tago is injured. Otherwise he is a bench utility, which would be a waste of space here.
  • Chee Kam is there because Koloamatagi is injured. Otherwise another bench utility or will be back in reserves once the squad is fully fit.
  • Madden is terrible. Can't see him getting another NRL contract.
  • Liddle is the only one who is going okay. We have better prospects at hooker on our roster so it made sense to let him go.
None of these guys would improve our team. There is a reason they were let go.

That's a rubbish list for your council cleanup, right?

Trying to figure out how players that are good enough for top 4 sides are not good enough for the team coming dead last ! I guess we are flush with quality centers ?
I agree Liddle not needed when we have Api and Jake
I guess I'm just depressed after watching our pathetic cup side where time and time again Laurie was saving tries behind a side that looked like a bunch of turnstiles
We really lack depth

Plenty more upside and I’m certain every NRL club would choose Blore over Garner given the choice.
Garner runs a good line in the attacking third of the field, Blore rips in and has a go in all parts of the field.
Likewise Seyfarth and James.
 
How Tumeth is only passed the ball 3 times in 80 minutes bamboozles me!

Yes probably doesn’t demand the ball atm like others but an indictment on our coaching too. Can run a hole but not given an opportunity.

Laurie is in our best 17 every day of the week - absolute joke that he hasn't appeared since rd 2

Very good point.
We have no idea how to bring our edge forwards into the game at NRL level or KOE Cup. Hard to believe that’s the fault of the players.
