If we are the entire board management and coaching team should be "hung drawn and quartered".I realise that form of punishment is no longer valid in the modern world but on this occasion it deserves to return because it is the right deterent for such high treason.

You seem to think he will or should (Or might) - I disagree.
He might at the Roosters or back at the Panthers, But not here he won't...

Ngutlik should be back before November I'd imagine, Should get a full pre-season with 1sts.
Like I said, He could be anything...
Shown more promise than at least half a dozen young blokes listed on the site.

Edit: His physical presence out wide alone would be enormous....

the bloke has played one game of NSW Cup. one. he is extremely raw and there is something worth persisting with but to think he is anywhere near NRL level you need your head read, and if you're going to compare him to a grand final winner and tryscorer in Staines then that's even worse.

Ngutlik needs considerable time developing in Cup before we even consider blooding him in first grade. his injury came at a very unfortunate time in his development but thankfully he's still on the books. top 30 would be a pipe dream at this stage.

if there is one position we are short on in the pathways, it is on the wing. he can most definitely fill that void, but it will be sometime before he can be considered for regular first grade. in the meantime, Staines is perfect as our second string fullback and winger. he is proven, Ngutlik is not.
 
I sometimes wonder if some on here have any idea about having a footy squad, some saying on KLEMMER is joffas replacement, no he’s not joffa can play front row , backrow and lock , u need 9-10 forwards and that’s not including ur hooker to get throw a season , and this idea our juniors can carry us is crap , they get run over every week in nsw cup , letting joffa go to those scum bags is a disgrace, UNLESS they bring in a better player , otherwise no wonder the media say we our a basket case

I think it was a smart move because if we didn't get them we had Joe locked in as a capable starter. 600k for a bench forward is OK but these funds could be spent on extending the young guns like Bula, tupou etc..

Tayln is a kid.

He has just stepped up from SB ball to Flegg.

He will be an absolute star IMO...I have not felt this confident about a Tiger's prospect in years.

But...no way could you expect him to play NRL right now. Body is not ready. Let's not rush him...

Re Jordan Miller...also a great prospect. Not sure how he will go. If anyone has seen him without his shirt on, he has puppy fat everywhere / is chubby.

He could turn that body into an NRL one and be a beast in 2025, or he could be a kid who dominated kids footy due to size who never gets into NRL shape. That will be up to him and the coaching staff.

Your right and make a great point that the money will be used to upgrade our better younger players and locking them down which has to be the clubs priority moving forward into the future, just hate helping other teams.

Don't know how close those numbers are in real life, Just going off standing next to them in real life.
- Pole is a bit thicker than Matamua....
Both are not overly tall though....
Pole seems very strong for the size of him.

Don't get me wrong, Neither will be in the circus or a disney movie anytime soon....
But compared to blokes like we've had in similar positions like - Aloiai, Jesse Sue, Taupau etc.
They're not real big...
Similar size to a Halatau or even smaller maybe....

You're just not listening....

I said Staines won't sign here to play 2nd grade (Especially after achieving so much more than both current wingers and FB) as you accurately pointed out.
Then I mentioned Ngutlik - A second string Winger.
DING DING!!

The likes of Feledy are top grade next year - Hill will be back from an ACL, Saukuru is going well in 2nds...
These guys (And Ngutlik) Are back up Outside Backs - Staines is not.

I'd actually prefer Staines over Nofoaluma (Although Nofoaluma is going well atm)
But one is signed for another 2.5 years, On massive money - And one is not...
Jnr Tupou will also cost us big money to keep beyond Christmas.

If we can get Staines to play ressies for a couple hundred a year - I'm all for it!!
Why not, We'd all love to have premiership winning backup lined up for a fill in at firsts when required.
Unfortunately, blokes with those sort of miles in them - Don't wait around in ressies...

Especially at a bottom 8 club.

Eh why your right that Talyn is long way from a regular first grade player it also wouldn't be surprising if he played a similar bench role to Simpkin during the origin period.

I hope not since young hoooker have a tendency to get bad shoulder injuries when they first come up

The Tigers have been heavily linked with a play for Josh Schuster in recent days.​

The Wests Tigers have squashed any talk that they will make a play for Josh Schuster, but could have their eye on other players at the Manly Sea Eagles.

The Tigers have been heavily linked in recent days with a play for Schuster, despite the fact he is on contract with the club until at least the end of 2024.

The worthiness of his rumoured $800,000 per year deal has been debated ad nauseum in recent times, with injuries preventing him from featuring in even half of Manly's games so far this year.

It has been revealed he has lost almost six kilograms in a bid to return to full fitness though after playing a staring role for the club in a big win over the Canberra Raiders during his return match in the Nation's capital on Sunday.

So interested the Tigers were rumoured to be in Schuster following the addition of ex-Manly talent scout Scott Fulton, that it was revealed Schuster's agent and the Tigers were spotted at dinner.

That is now seemingly unlikely to come to anything though, with Wide World of Sports reporting the Tigers don't see Schuster fitting into their plans, although they could target other young Manly players.

"He goes okay but we don't think he is a good fit for us," a Tigers source told Wide World of Sports.

"We do have our eyes on a few others though."

That comes with the Tigers having released Joe Ofahengaue to the Parramatta Eels on Tuesday afternoon just minutes before the team list deadline.

That has allowed Ofahengaue to line up for the blue and gold this weekend, but has also freed up significant funds on the salary cap for the joint venture.

While it's being reported they could use those funds, combined with a reduced wage for Luke Brooks, to target Newcastle Knights and recalled State of Origin second-rower Tyson Frizell, a raid on the Sea Eagles would appear not to be out of the question.

The Sea Eagles, who have already let Alec Tuitavake and Viliami Fifita go this year to the St George Illawarra Dragons, will be unwilling to lose any more players, but with a talented crop of youngsters on the books, only bolstered by Monday's immediate signing of Jake Arthur, they are a club who plenty of rivals could be looking at with players unable to break into first-grade.

A lot of writing but burger all in it , says nothing other than schuster won’t come here , so it is a long winded bullshit story
