Your team vs Titans

I’m going to predict Daine Laurie onto the bench this week replacing Jake Simpkin. Two main reasons:

1 - Jake needs minutes in NSW Cup. Sheens alluded to his lack of game time affecting his conditioning in the post-match presser. Jake will be needed when Api is on SOO duty.
2 - Tigers putting Laurie in shop window for a potential suitor before 30 June. Utility to give Api a spell after 30 or so mins & maybe Wakeham if we need x-factor late in game.

I

I think they will run with Cook on the bench. Hynes to play half and as much as I don’t line it, they will keep Luai
I think Fittler will do just that- unfortunately. My view would be Reynolds and Cody Walker in the halves. I think Turbo is not up for it and would leave Crighton as one centre and latrell the other. Api stays at 9- no Cooke, Murray at 13, and need to stiffen up impact off the bench.

1. Bula
2. Nofoaluma

4. Talau

10. Klemmer
11. Papali'i
12. Bateman
13. Pole

14. Da Silva
15. Twal
16. Kepoua
17. Seyfarth

Having never had much faith in Simpkin, and disappointed again on Friday night, I too would be happy to see just how ready young Da Silva may be.

Agree Simpkin has aways to go.

To early for TDS.

Probably, though there is only one way to find out, and if one is good enough, then they are old enough.

Simpkin also debuted for WT when he was 18, but there is a big difference in the pack strength that would be supporting TDS if he is called in. As he would only be playing limited minutes and seems to have much more skill than Jake, I reckon it is worth a shot.

Think we will see DeSilva debut but more because it allows Simpkin to play 80 mins in NSW cup this weekend before having to play 60 mins in NRL the week after with Api in Origin - needs more minutes in his legs

We need players that could exploit tiring defence and impact the game, Twal and Seyfarth are defence work horses, in the attack Twal >>>>>>>>> ......>>>>>>>>.....>>> Seyfarth.
So Twal to start, and Utoikamanu to the bench, and Seyfarth to carry bags for mighty Antarctica Sea Lions!
Matamoua/Ma'anaima on the bench to replace useless Seyfarth.

If Blore is fit we need to elevate him to NRL even though there’s talk of him leaving. Letting go of Joffa as much as it may have been an opportunity has highlighted that we are short a couple of quality forwards right now and until the young ones are physically ready.
We lose so much in our bench rotation - ideally Pole and Uto should be our bench middles with AJ able to cover backs as well. Maybe Frizell would be good for us with him or Bateman at lock.
Api can play 80 while we find a fast, elusive type of utility that come on a cause havoc against tired forwards.
If Talau is gone then bring Naden back in now.

I think Pole would be a sensation as a edge backrower no good at lock can't pass.Put him in backrow and Bateman as lock and Atasi James as prop .Much more attacking back 3 would strengthen the pack imo.
