Cant Believe Blore he is a keeper , I’d say it’s move Blore sign Frizz but we will move Blore and frizz will stay in Newy

Ben Hunt would steer us arounfd into the 8. He is older but he is much smarter than our half’s , he would get dirty or whacked to smart , he will be a great get for us
I think we have to face facts
We are struggling to put an NRL level quality team on the park atm
Looking at what we have who are Quality 1st grade footballers
Bula , Noffa , Toa ( not at 6 ) Tupou ( needs a class left center inside him)
Pole ,Klemm, Steph ,Paps , Bateman ,Twal , and of course Api
Naden is a big maybe and can't count Brooks ( he doesn't even want to be there) Da Silva maybe one day
Douehi won't be back even next year ( Sheens hinted at that at Presser)
Weve got about a dozen quality 1st graders and we need at least 18
In the meantime give Daino another go as for all his faults he does have instincts
We either need to do some serious recruiting or sit back enjoy a Dynasty of Spoons . Our Pathways are not going to solve this !

We need the Scotty Prince replacement.
Even though last night was disappointing in some respects we turned up with good attitude. ATM a lack of halves and execution are our enemies.

Which means they let Jofa go without a contingency to fill that Roster Spot. The negligence by Management to give Members and Fans a side that can challenge to get to 8th place is disgusting. Constantly playing under the Cap destines you to the Spoon.
We will never succeed while Lee,Pascoe and this Board remain. In the sporting landscape, they're losers.

Toa on side new guys the other or Bring Reilly in now and give him a go season is shot , also Give James a crack off the bench , piss Sayfarts off and keep Blore
Err..that would indicate that he has to do hit ups and tackle which seem to have been written out of his current contract

Not sure why anyone would sign for WT this season or next when the coach has repeatedly stated his job is not to win now but to prepare a squad for his understudy in 2025.

Hastings was a decent signing at 500-600k. If no top shelf halfbacks want to come here then lets get people who can do the job and keep signing a Monster pack. Spend the money on Frizzel or a Panther Or heck get Manu/Olam in our centers and have a backline that can defend.
Average halfbacks do well in a pack that can hold their own. See Chad Townsend.

I would seriously do 800k for either of them. Yes it is overs but we need to stop the rot in our backline. The game vs Melbourne is a clear example of this. We can't defend we will get 20 points scored against us.

Repeated so often it's boring, but letting Hastings go has not proven successful. Was a better half than Brooks last year and now we won't even have Brooks.
Lots of positives in the way we play, but our halves are our biggest weakness and we acted like it wasn't an issue in the offseason.

Not often a premium Half is available that legitimately is looking to cash in.

I’d pay hunt a mil a year for 2 seasons. Our salary cap is reportedly much more balanced than dragons. We can afford him. We need experience and direction desperately
To me it’s not dragging them here if you sell the dream and they decide to come. You need to target the best players even if it’s low odds. I don’t seem the point in only targeting average players because you’d be just “dragging” them here too.
I would have personally kept Hastings for a season or two for depth at the very least but he was reportedly offered no7 at 900k a season. That’s how poor the halfback market is.
