We need to get 4 halves for next season but I agree with your point. Go and pick out the best juniors and go from there. Some won't come but surely we can get a couple.

My realistic preference is re-sign Brooks and Wakeham but go and get two gun juniors coming through. Brooks wants to go so go and get another cheapish option.

The ideal situation would have been to get Moses or Munster but that didn't happen. I don't think Hunt is in that class but you'd take him on the right contract.

Repeated so often it's boring, but letting Hastings go has not proven successful. Was a better half than Brooks last year and now we won't even have Brooks.

Lots of positives in the way we play, but our halves are our biggest weakness and we acted like it wasn't an issue in the offseason.

I fail to see why people are fixed on these two players. Yes they are good players and in Hunt's case better then the roster depicts. Neither though can dig their team out of the hole they are in.

Why if were going to recruit halfbacks. Why not set up for say 1.6m for DCE? Way over valued but one of the few halfbacks that can win a game when their team is outmuscled... OR make a pitch for Olam, have storm blow their cap to keep him then make a play for J Hugues?

Were offering more then 1 Million and have several strong players in our team. Lets stop offering overs for the Dregs.

If you added Hunt to that Titans team they would actually be a contender IMO.

They are top 2 in the NRL in most stats first 60 mins of games...then they collapse.
