I thought Seyfarth was good last night. He was ball playing and making tackles.

That was Blore's best game. We should definitely keep him. I'd have no problems bringing Reilly in though. It's worth a shot.

The thing is Toa is not a gun. Not even close. One outstanding game against the cowboys aside he's not doing anything at all for the past 18 months. All players need to be judged on the average performances they deliver, not just their peaks.

fair assessment,has shown signs of improvement in that time.your opinion stick or flick T oa,he can go sign with Blore/elsewhere lol

Mate you have lost the plot re Bateman.

Don’t know what more he could be doing let alone the fact you’re wrong as well.

Bateman is averaging 111 meters a game, had only made less than 100mtrs in 4 games this year, 2 of which were in his 1st 3 games without a preseason. Last 5 games have all been over 110mtrs including 150mtr game against the Raiders.

Add to that he is averaging 39 tackles a game for the season as well (last 2 over 50).

As I’ve said he’s bog average and we are paying him at least twice what he’s worth.
Everyone who watches Super League were saying he’s past it and not the player he once was, Wigan couldn’t wait to get rid of him and we had no other NRL club fighting us for his signature.
What other NRL club would have him in their starting line up ?
Edge back rowers have to run onto the ball hard and at least threaten to make line breaks, he doesn’t run onto the ball hard, mainly runs across field and I would hope he makes plenty of tackles as he’s mainly 3rd man in.
Blore provides much more bite as an edge back rower and surely you agree he is not a 13’s backside.
It’s 700k wasted in which we could and should be spending towards finding some decent halves.

look on the bright side Vicious,Bateman made a strong indication he may not see his contract out ,unsure whether he was being a smart rc or not,he is doing better than me anticipated

dont agree with this

we never made a play for hynes or reynolds because we had brooks

whilst we have him -- for another 2 or 3 years we wont look elsewhere

we are better off just cutting him and then waiting for someone to become disgruntled or some kid has a blinder at the start of the season next year in reserve grade and offer him money to come with a transfer fee to break tot he contrac tlike bulldogs did with the broncos kid...

we need to let brooks go.....

trust me -- if he's here we wont be looking

even though there is no one else around -- that is right now -- things always change -- and we'll become hungry to find someone --- and i would prefer to come last next year wihtout brooks and have the chacne to sign someone great -- then come 14th with brooks -- because we are never going to win a comp or make teh 8 with him
