Gordy Mack2.Hunt will go home 2 qld/were ever that is.hope St G make him sit it out.talk about make the best out of a situation,up start little ?
You're one of the worst judges of talent on hereClearly not a lock and I can’t recall him making one line break this season as a second rower either.
Add that he’s only ran for more than 100m once all season.
He’s not anywhere near a 700k per season player and he will only get worse as he gets older over the next few seasons.
The thing is Toa is not a gun. Not even close. One outstanding game against the cowboys aside he's not doing anything at all for the past 18 months. All players need to be judged on the average performances they deliver, not just their peaks.Brooks has said he is going. I don't see centres as a problem at all. To'a is a gun. Naden should be able to player there. Maybe Tupou could do the job there as well and Staines onto the wing.
I thought Seyfarth was good last night. He was ball playing and making tackles.
That was Blore's best game. We should definitely keep him. I'd have no problems bringing Reilly in though. It's worth a shot.

fair assessment, has shown signs of improvement in that time.your opinion stick or flick T oa,he can go sign with Blore/elsewhere lolThe thing is Toa is not a gun. Not even close. Brookes is that pin up boyGive us something mate. I'm trying to see some positives.
Went to Henson Park to watch Jets vs Warriors in NSW cup today. Both Trindall and Volkman played well and would be happy with either but in particular with Trindall he should be playing NRL today - great kicking and passing game, has speed but when live what you see is how he manages a game and a team.
As I’ve said he’s bog average and we are paying him at least twice what he’s worth.Mate you have lost the plot re Bateman.
Don’t know what more he could be doing let alone the fact you’re wrong as well.
Bateman is averaging 111 meters a game, had only made less than 100mtrs in 4 games this year, 2 of which were in his 1st 3 games without a preseason. Last 5 games have all been over 110mtrs including 150mtr game against the Raiders.
Add to that he is averaging 39 tackles a game for the season as well (last 2 over 50).
That is up for most ridiculous post of the yearAs I’ve said he’s bog average and we are paying him at least twice what he’s worth.
Everyone who watches Super League were saying he’s past it and not the player he once was, Wigan couldn’t wait to get rid of him and we had no other NRL club fighting us for his signature.
What other NRL club would have him in their starting line up ?
Edge back rowers have to run onto the ball hard and at least threaten to make line breaks, he doesn’t run onto the ball hard, mainly runs across field and I would hope he makes plenty of tackles as he’s mainly 3rd man in.
Blore provides much more bite as an edge back rower and surely you agree Bateman is not a 13’s backside.
It’s 700k wasted in which we could and should be spending towards finding some decent halves.
What is incorrect about it ?That is up for most ridiculous post of the year
One way, I hopePASCO and lee are going on a world trip 1st class 🙄🤪
look on the bright side Vicious,Bateman made a strong indication he may not see his contract out ,unsure whether he was being a smart rc or not,he is doing better than me anticipatedAs I’ve said he’s bog average and we are paying him at least twice what he’s worth.

dont agree with thisI think we’d all like to see that, not saying Brooks will lead us to a GF, but given the current options keeping him and going hard for a true half would, in my opinion, be our best bet. Our club hasn’t been able to attract 1 decent half let alone two. Sign him on a two year deal and if we find someone better early, play Brooks off the bench or reserves, god know we have plenty of cap space to carry him for a year. What happens if we let Brooks go and we can’t sign anyone else?
A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.
