Any of those 4 would be good, but I think Sexton can make the biggest impact in the next 18 months mainly because he has a very good kicking game and we have no one at the club that can execute short kicks well.On the other forum, an ITK poster heard a rumour we are signing a young half this week - a backup level half from another club & not Jack Cogger.
Not sure his interpretation of backup level half, whether that also includes under 19 types or just 2nd/3rd string halves playing mainly NSW Cup.
If rumour is true, me thinks it is either Ronald Volkman, Toby Sexton, Latu Fainu or Ethan Sanders.
I don’t think Rabbits or Sharks would risk releasing Hawkins & Trindall in case they are required through injury. Nor do I think Dragons would release Sullivan or Roosters with Smith until Hunt situation finalised.
Volkman - Warriors have Te Maire Martin & Dylan Walker who can cover halves as backups to SJ & Metcalf. They may be willing to save some cap space to offer SJ new deal. RV is from Sydney & managed by Fulton’s man Tartak.
Sexton - well down pecking order now, Titans may be out to create cap space for Hunt. Former Junior Kangaroo.
Fainu - also managed by Tartak, great relationship with Fulton but would take an amazing deal for Manly.
Sanders - SG Ball GF man of the match, regarded as the best game managing half in junior reps, could be a coincidence but he hasn’t played lower grades for Parra since the weekend before we released Joffa to Eels. Maybe an injury or was he part of the Joffa deal that has taken a few more weeks to go through???
Not happeningLooks like the latest is Tigers have set their sights on Jack Cogger.
Sheens & Co have reportedly reached out to his manager.

No way , no better than reserve grade standard.Give him $1m and $1m to Schneider..problem solved 🔥🔥🔥🔥
His father Trevor was a handy player for the Magpies. If he's any where near as good as his dad he'd be a decent pickup.Looks like the latest is Tigers have set their sights on Jack Cogger.

Hi Dad use to play reserves then firsts on the same day, think young Cogger’s up to it as well? His dad Trevor was a handy player for the Magpies. If he's any where near as good as Trev he'd be a good pickup.
In our team, it's the same thingHi Dad use to play reserves then firsts on the same day, think young Cogger’s up to it as well?
He's better than Wakeham. He'll need a good running 6 outside him. Irony is Brooks is the ideal type of player to play outside of a CoggerLooks like the latest is Tigers have set their sights on Jack Cogger.

Never know but he seems to be going ok right now. His old man was one tough cookie!Hi Dad use to play reserves then firsts on the same day, think young Cogger’s up to it as well?

If that's the caliber of 7 we are looking at, its typical of past recruitment failures by the club....Cogger failed in 2 NRL stints with the Knight's and the Dogs...no thanks...we need better than thisLooks like the latest is Tigers have set their sights on Jack Cogger.

I'll believe Brooks is gone when another club announces his signing. All that seems to have happened so far is he's been made an offer by Sheens & Co, thinks he might do better elsewhere and proposes exploring his options. Will not be surprised if he ends up staying if nobody else wants to beat our offer. That said, if it's not just about money, he'll probably take whatever he can get to exit our club. He's better than Wakeham. He'll need a good running 6 outside him. That would be so sad he has a wife new baby and responsibilitiesI doubt it Odessa, I could be wrong but am sceptical there is anyone in the N.R.L interested in him atm. Whether that changes later iv no clue I just reckon with the manager he has, Moses would have been playing it up to try and get more for him, he's the master at it.
Mate it went over your head you missed the tongue and cheek next time I guessWhy are people down on our recruitment?
Why?
Hey Penrith guys, you played with Api?
Parra, come play with Papa...
Newcastle, Klem is here.
What's the common factor here? All our forwards have grunt and muscle. Take the squad last year "hey come play beside Joe O and Stefano. You can be a third Pillow!".
We haven't clicked yet. We do however have Marshall on staff and many halves coming in know Marshall can come up with some freak on attack. Yes as fans us not having a win sucks. Players though won't be liking us, but we won't suck as much as say the Dragons.
Trevor was a great player for Wests another Berala Bears product , i was at Lidcombe Oval that day , remember it well👍Trevor was way better than handy. He's a Magpie legend.
He made his first grade debut after playing a full game of third grade and was sitting on the hill eating a pie and having a beer when the announcement came over the P.A. that Trevor Cogger was needed in the dressing room.
He'd never even trained with first grade but played 25 minutes, scored 2 tries and led a fightback to win the game.
Trevor could play.
Bring Trevor's son home!
What has worked for us Lily?He might play great and make origin and Australia, great for him, for us though it's not working unfortunately. It's time to move on
Schneider is slow as well.big no thanks to Cogger... Next
rumour is it is Brad Schneider from Canberra we are signing
we better be getting Latu Fainu as well
