You are the third comment I have received on this question, and two of you have offered one name Wakeham but all had a shot at me for daring to ask the question as to the ability of Brooks, And forget Wakeham he can kick goals so he has value.

AND I THINK ABOUT BROOKS BECAUSE OF HIS INABILITY TO PLAY THE GAME.

I see it very differently
It's team. Brooks is a good player, that really doesn't do much for the team. Likewise our recruitment this year:
Klemmer,
Paps
Bateman.

Great players, who drive the line forward and give us positional dominance we haven't had before. Team wise, we haven't gelled as a team and really need to get our defensive and attacking structures in place.

No, but it doesn't mean a young first grader can't learn from an experienced journeyman. Even if that journeyman is now playing reserve grade behind him.

If we do end up with a couple of rookie halves i actually wouldn't mind Clune as our reserve grade half training alongside and tutoring the younger blokes, I just wouldn't want him starting for us in first grade.

Think about Stef's glowing review of Finucane and how much he claimed to have learnt after his first stint in Origin camp.

Just need to ensure the older player is the right personality to pass on knowledge.

Wakeham, Te Marie Martin, Ilias. Gamble, Hastings.
Olauapu (currently, but I think Olaupu will end up better).
Amone and Sullivan (Sullivan may surpass him, not yet convinced).
Currently playing better than Townsend and Moylan but they have had better careers.
He is a very different player to O'Sullivan and Fogarty but he's at least their equal imo.
