Of course I could be wrong, but he'd be the smallest centre in the NRL if he made it. In that case he'd need to be posessed of either blinding speed, super human strength or both. He's no doubt strong but he's no Justin Olam and he's not even close to a Naden for speed. 5/8 maybe...

Since he’s 19, I’ll reserve my judgement until he has another 2-3 pre-seasons. I think he’ll be a progressive type that could be an Olam type powerhouse by 23.

I could see him not making it as well for the reasons Tigerballs has mentioned. I believe Manly held the same view. I hope he does kick on.

Needs to start repeatedly turning Ford under. BMM gasses easily and becomes slow. He will start playing in tighter and Metcalf has the speed to then burn him on the outside.

Next to Cronk, Townsend is a good organising halfback. nothing flash but can get a teams positioning right.

If Fainu has flair and good game sense, pairing him with Townsend would teach him nothing. Too different.

In agreement. I’d also bring Bayley Sironen home who is off contract if we released Jake Simpkin. Bayley would be an ideal bench utility who can relieve Api at dummy half & also cover back row & lock.
