Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Benji came out today and shut Pooper down, he is not going anywhere, but I wish Pooper was
Don't know him personally, but from his public persona I can't stand him; He is the worst when it comes to the Tigers and seems to revel in sinking the boot in at any slightest opportunity.

It was a while ago now I came to the conclusion it really wasn't just me; the Tigers seem to get hammered by the media far worse than other teams. It's at the point I'm happy when it's the dragons or any other team in the spotlight for the wrong reasons just because it gives the club a break.

This Benji/Fulton thing has been dredged up for the second time now. They're just their go-to for filler trash journalism (if you could call it that) and it's annoying. 🙄

Unless it’s something extraordinary from the Dolphins I can’t see them wanting to relocate to QLD especially with their brother in the clink. Given the Fulton link and Benji now being onboard I can see this being done.

Second rower from last year that the Tigers previously signed from the Storm, he started the year in Manly's top side but has been injured now for a number of weeks.
I thought bunji and Fulton weren’t getting on?!?

As a backup plan, we could make a late play for Ethan Sanders.

Sports Con in Daily Tele:

Penrith have pulled out of the race for Parramatta young gun Ethan Sanders. The Panthers met with Sanders earlier this month but have opted against pursuing the half many experts predict to be the game’s next superstar.

Canberra have made a big play to entice him away from the Eels. The Eels are confident they can keep Sanders, although his path to first grade is blocked by a pair of big names on lucrative long-term deals. Sanders was named player of the match in the SG Ball final earlier this year.

This is what I'm tryna say, we have a meeting solely to decide whether to 'pursue their signature'. And we wonder why players get swooped from underneath us all the time. We're turtles.

In the time the old printer outback takes to spit out the contracts, you'll read that Gus or some other snake has come in.
They signed a heads of agreement. Lee came in with it for dessert

Yet Melbourne have their “coffee test” where they have to meet every player to assess their character before offering contracts and somehow it doesn’t stop them.

tough titties if we dont get the kid, seems he comes with baggage (his bro;s ). and i doubt it very much weather he turns this team around this year or next, most of the aces are up our sleeve,he's a local, all the money in the world,up n coming team who he is mates with.its all we have to sell to the kid like that, join the team ,lead it from the front in a few years time, chase the glory,

Probably aren’t but you don’t have to be best buds to sit down and conduct business over a meal. At the end of the day it’s a job, maybe not quite like other jobs but we all worked with people we haven’t gotten on with before such is life.
I’m sure they’ll suck it up maybe throw toys out of the pram from time to time who cares as long as they both do their jobs.

I would imagine every club worth a pinch of salt would want to have a chat with two young blokes they’ve never met before, particularly when you’re trying to establish a good culture. Seems reasonable to me that the incoming coach wants to outline his vision and see what the brothers have to say.
