But overall, there's weak links in the coaching staff and more wink links in our board.
From the ABC commentary team this morning...each player has to believe in themselves, the other players, the coach and the board.
Anything missing there and the results on the field show in last night's result.
We are a totally 💩 club and will stay that way until there are 'major' changes all along the line.
The only way I can handle this, is to crawl into a cave and hibernate for 2 years because we will continue to be 💩 for at least that long.
But I'll be very happy if someone laughs at me as early as next year and tells me how wrong this prediction was.

Mate, that presser is one of the hardest jobs a coach has. You can’t say exactly what you want to because the media would be all over it so you pull out the standard answers to protect everyone.
I thought Sheens was pretty straight forward and he emphasised that it was both a players and coaches issue and it would need to be corrected together.
I would imagine that there will be a few deep and meaningful conversations over the next few days where individual issues can be addressed before the team comes together for one or maybe 2 sessions before Thursday.

If WT haven't used a sport psychologist before this, they certainly should now, with the board, coaches and all players attending.

That is by far the worst ever performance by a professional club ever, surely. I'm so glad I missed it live, and was able to skip a lot of that rubbish.

We need answers, and heads to roll. And DESPERATELY need to announce some good signings, if anyone wants to come here still.

Any player 'of the type we need', would have rocks in their head to want to come here unless they are paid massive overs.

Since 2013, WT have conceded 74, 72, 66, 64, 60, 56, 56, 54, 52, 51, 51, 50, 50, 50 in games while also becoming the first team ever to concede 26+ points in 13 straight games (2020/21).

It’s ingrained and nothing new.

Only the 2nd time WT have conceded more than 28 this season, if you can believe it?

I kept waking up and remembering the disgrace… it is bad..that defence was abysmal.. also the bench use was horrific,, ay one stage with Da Silva we started to get a touch of momentum and then they just hook him . Probably at a particular point in time but ffs read the room.. how about some heads up coaching for once .. shitshow

I think you will find they hooked him cause he was struggling with the speed in defence

Yep, it's very hard to describe the rabble we have become.
How exciting coming 9th would be, as we would probably win as many games as we lose.

Did anyone really expect a win given the last two games since Api got taken out?
Fortunately for me, I went fishing and was watching it delayed - put up with the disaster until the 35 minute mark and then went straight to the end. Saved me from going ballistic and drinking way too much.
Kudos to those who went from go to whoa.

Fishing, even if you dont get a single nibble, you get a hole in your kayak and your kayak sinks would be more fun than watching WT play.
You can purchase a better kayak tomorrow, but we wont have a better team tomorrow or the next day, or the next day............🙁
When you do go fishing next 🙂, I hope you catch a kayak full of those horrible pest Carp along with lotsa decent eating fish.

I don’t think u were wrong to think that , but u need class players also on ur bench , which some on here don’t get that , so letting joffa leave without any replacement was sheer madness

I just made myself watch ethe replay & fair dinkum 80% of their tries came down our right side (Nofa - Toa - Wakeham - Papalii). Nofa & Wakeham were terrible with some of their reads & efforts in D. Also the inexperience of Bula & Tupou really told too as did 1-2 defensive efforts from Tallyn which is understandable at his age & body strength.

Cowboys really exploited our weaknesses with Drinkwater, Dearden & Holmes storming this edge and then their confidence, home crowd got their energy up to roll through the middle and everything they tried, came off.

We need to put this result behind us. Main thing to do for Thursday night is correct this right edge defence & get the player's mindset that this result isn't on & prove it.

-Nofa to be replaced by Kepaoa or Talau (no other options)
-IP to move back to left side backrow, Bateman to move back to right side backrow
-Wakeham to be replaced by Will Smith at halfback (got to try something, maybe Will's experience will help)
-Assuming Stef is selected for SOO, start with middles Klemmer, Pole & Seyfarth (Matamua, Blore & James bench)
