What a name what a flashback he was called the next big thing I remember a interview with him and his mum and it was an eye opener the mum was talking like he had played 100 first grade games and MOM in the GF it was crazy the cart before the horse 🐎 was miles InfrontWe have not had a youngster carry so much expectation since Jake Mullaney was carving up the 20’s
Flannagan would know from his time there before probably the same reason Griffin dropped him to reserve gradeIt's worrying that a talented player like Lomax appears unwanted by new head coach Flanagan. Got to be a good reason.
I actually think these things have far more variables than people like to admit.Just one question, what do you suspect caused us to go from 66-18 winners against the Cowboys to 0-74 some 6 weeks later? The easy answer is injuries to two key players, but that would be papering over cracks.
If you think Joffa is not part of that, well let’s just agree to disagree.
It's so Tigers release a good player who loves the club and sign no one I can only believe we are going to pay the transfer fee and get the UK halfTrue, like when we released Ofahengaue and signed.... ............
That’s right..deadlines to sign only seem to apply to WT players they want out, but give the perception they want to keep.Unless you’re an eleven year veteran in a spine position, then you have a tight deadline.
I hope you are right, we need some good news, and a halfAuntie talking out of pocket hehe.. They're
Tigers. We've set them up I believe it's done
Or that he is a selfish player who doesn't attend BBQ'sPiss poor effort on the Mulitalo try last week. Probably lots of that lately.
Mate I heard it this afternoon from one of theI hope you are right, we need some good news, and a half
I'd be happy with that outcomeIt's so Tigers release a good player who loves the club and sign no one I can only believe we are going to pay the transfer fee and get the UK half
Take this with a grain of salt but I know someone who is very close with the mum & she told him Latu & Samuela are both signing for the Tigers.Am I the only one that thinks the longer the Latu signing goes on the less likely it even goes ahead. Other clubs will come and pounce just like normal.
hope you’re right brother. would make this week a whole lot easier in the wake of Saturday night.Take this with a grain of salt but I know someone who is very close with the mum & she told him Latu & Samuela are both signing for the Tigers.
Take these nuts on your chin you cheeky boy 🤮😆Take this with a grain of salt but I know someone who is very close with the mum & she told him Latu & Samuela are both signing for the Tigers.
Professionally.4. Attitude - Also applies to club officials who write off a season in early June. How do you expect a playing group to react??
Payten put posters in every corner of the Cows training facility of the 66-18 scores even in the showers and dunnies to shame and motivate them for revenge.I actually think these things have far more variables than people like to admit.
For example (obvious ones too) -
1) Api out - not only is he our best player and captain, but he leads the tempo in defence, whether it's line speed or kick chase, he mops up ineffective tackles around the middle and facilitates more metres in attack (I'm underselling his contribution here)
2) Brooks out - On form, our best runner and kicker of the football. Our best attacking threat this year. Solid edge defender. Has the capacity, on occasion, to alter momentum.
3) Momentum. The modern game is a momentum machine. The best defensive sides disrupt momentum either through pressure or suffocation. It sounds like a lazy analysis, but it can get away from you in a game. If you get the jump early, points can come thick and fast. Cows built momentum and didn't slow it down. Even we, several times this year, have rode momentum heavily. The Dogs, Canberra and Cows first game just to name a few.
4) Attitude. Both us and the cows. They were inverted from last game. They wanted revenge and we, I think, have been looking around the sheds a little bit more lately pre game and dropping our heads. The Canberra game and the Brooks/Api injuries have cruelled belief and subsequently attitude.
5) Luck. Last time, we got every bounce of the ball, this time, we couldn't buy good fortune. Knock ons into certain tries. No look hail Mary passes finding hands. Balls bouncing at 90 degrees into a chasing prop's arms, key forward passes being missed. It was their night and it all fell their way.
6) Combinations. Our edges have been decimated, both by injuries and selections. The edge - half - centre link is the most important in rugby league defensive structures, and we had a new centre combination (again), a new five eighth, Bateman in the middle rather than on an edge, and both Papali'i on a different side and Blore coming in for just a handful on games each.
I think there's several other considerations as well.
Look, having Joffa on the bench for 32mins instead of Seyfarth is something I think we'd all prefer. But I don't see him having much of an influence on that outcome.
Meanwhile our coach is out shaking trees looking for a halfPayten put posters in every corner of the Cows training facility of the 66-18 scores even in the showers and dunnies to shame and motivate them for revenge.
And it worked, great coaching.
He’s in my backyard now but it’s not a halfback tree, it’s a Brazil nut tree.Meanwhile our coach is out shaking trees looking for a half
Wests Magpies of the late 1950's were known as the millionaire's club due to funding from Wests Leagues Club, and they were able to buy some great players.Cash.😂
