Chairman Lee on Sen - says we are all disappointed with the 74 point loss but
" we will own it "
What the hell does that mean ? As far as I can see neither he or the CEO have owned anything ever .Failure after Failure year after year and they have total job security .
Most businesses or organisations where they fail very badly year on year leads to changes at the top . Meaning the CEO as he is the prime executive whereas a non executive Chairman does just that he chairs board meetings and that's it .One of the key decisions taken by the board at least a couple of times a year is whether to renew ,extend or terminate the contract of the Ceo ! Is Lee a non executive Chairman or does he get involved with day to day decisions in running the club ?
Do most non executive chairmen have self promoting slots on the radio where the embarrass themselves and their organisation on a regular basis?

Disagree. Of course the coach has to sign off on the recruitment officer. Im not sure how many clubs you have been assoiciated with, but in any sucessful club the coach always directs the recruitment officer to go after the types of players that suit his coaching style. Not separate areas ,The CEO & chairman should hire the recruitment officer the coach wants. Thats the only way you t get everyone going in the same direction. Unfortunately, our chairman & CEO cant do their own jobs let alone try to pretend they are coaches as well. These two clowns started screwing this club when they hired that DS Taylor & have continued ever since. We are lucky that Sheens came back to sort this mess & he has started to. If they make his position untenable, that will be the end for me. If they really love the club , the best thing they can do to help is resign.
Rubbish, then u end up where we have been with the Madge era with a team picked by another coach that has already left. And then your left in a spin cycle, which is where we are. Hence why sheens said that Benji will make decisions on players past 24. Yes the coach should have a high say in players.
So your saying that as soon as u sign a new coach u sack the recruitment team and bring in a new team?? Bullshit, it may happen occasionally but not every time.

Once again, with all due respect , it appears you dont understand how successful clubs work. You may have all very talented players but they dont gel because of personalities or they dont play the the style the coach wants.. Case in point Wayne Bennett & Craig Bellemy. They can turn the most ordinary players into stars because the recruit the types they want. It is ridiculous that they would just take what ever the recruitment team dishes up. A recruitment teams role is this . After a coach identifies a player he wants, the recruitment team tries to bring that player to the signing table . The coach simply doesnt have the time to do this as well as every thing else ,otherwise he would do it himself. And no, you wouldnt have to sack the recruitment team but you certaintly would if they didnt take full direction from the coach what players to buy. Otherwise they may as well be the coach.

I believe Bellamy is a good coach but he also a bit of a myth. There are tonnes of players that they have just shoveled off, that u don’t hear about, kasiano, etc.
It’s funny everyone was complaining about Ronald being our recruitment guy, then when the Fulton signing happens we are all up in arms. Typical reactive tigers supporters!
As I have stated, there’s no way sheens would have let Ronald go and Fulton in. They gave Ronald the chance to land the big fish, he failed and is now gone! What’s the problem??
There will be teething problems with Fulton and bunji that’s normal, the big problem is that it is being leaked again by who??
Bunji??
We don’t know if bunji will work, should we be going all in?? Remember that tarak has most of our best juniors signed up, if that’s where we see our future it’s good math to sign one of his mates as our recruitment guy!

Just so long as you don’t say so many players want to be coached by Benji. That to me is a huge myth. Maybe people admired him and wanted to have his spontaneity but I’m sure most players would prefer to be coached by Bennett, Bellamy, Cleary or Robinson, coz they get the best out of you, and win premierships.

Surely we should have learnt some important lessons from Tales of Tiger Town, Lee and Justin, get off the media and get to work fixing this club, quietly, efficiently but QUICKLY.
Happy to hear about the strong management you have applied but only after it’s done.
Lee, if you read social media, which you said you did recently, take this advice from someone who’s been a CEO and Board Member of a major organisation and resign from SEN, cut the Ask the Boss segment and focus 100% on fixing what’s broken.
Remember, you are either part of the problem or part of the solution, which do you want it to be.

The problem is that he doesn't see that there is a problem.

This is why our Chairman should not be our major sponsor. He uses the WT to boost his profile(as any sponsor should)
And its had a damaging impact on the Club

I'm not sure if that is the case, but one thing is for certain, he definitely does not have the solution.
He and the Bosrd haven’t identified the root cause of our problems. Once they do that the solution will appear, believe me.
You see, the root cause could cause quite a few highly placed executives within the organisation some real pain and only a strong and cohesive board could take the appropriate steps to correct it.

Is it possible the Board made a huge mistake when they sacked Maguire and installed Benji?
We've had 27 games since sacking Maguire, when compared with his last 27 games we have half the number of wins, less effective attack and worse defence. Madge had to coach with a board constantly putting him under more pressure than Buzz's liver.

The head coach is irrelevant here. It’s the muppets up higher that set the standard.
The key for the coach is the quality of the playing roster, and sorry to say our roster is basically a shocker.
So you are correct B, wouldn’t matter who was, or about, to coach, we just don’t have the cattle. And that has been spoken about on this forum a hundred times before.

He was such a good coach that every other team that has looked for a new coach had him at the top of their most wanted list......oh......hang on a minute, isn't he making latte's for Ricky now?
