Wests Ashfield still don’t have football relevancy, I think that’s their gripe…It was the CEO of Wests Ashfield so I doubt we will hear it.

NRL 2023: Ex-NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet backed for Wests Tigers job, Phil Rothfield | What’s the Buzz
Fatty O’Barrell didn’t last long as chairman, we been in that direction before don’t go there again.I certainly hope not, putting any ex politician in a position of power would be an absolute disaster.
If only the rest of them were as self-aware as Simon cook, we'd be ok...and he was the good one!Wests Ashfield still don’t have football relevancy, I think that’s their gripe…
That’s so absurd, sadly true.If only the rest of them were as self-aware as Simon cook, we'd be ok...and he was the good one!
But hey, at least they can write us a song, paint our house or sell us some real estate.
We don’t know why Cook left, only a press release saying he was doing it for the greater good of Wests Tigers. And we will probably never know.If only the rest of them were as self-aware as Simon cook, we'd be ok...and he was the good one!

You don't care the boards experience? We don’t know why Cook left, only a press release saying he was doing it for the greater good of Wests Tigers. And we will probably never know.
And I don’t care what the board members occupations are as long as they understand their role in managing a passionate, high profile business that runs on results,( both financial and operational).
BOF and Dom are worlds apart. BOF did nothing but I’d back Dom to be a success.Fatty O’Barrell didn’t last long as chairman, we been in that direction before don’t go there again.
I care about experience but let’s face it, Politis is a car salesman who has evolved over time, so it’s what you do with what you’ve got.You don't care the boards experience?
It's crucial mate. You need not only the business acumen, but the players and club to respect you and the decisions.
Go have a look at the roosters board.. it's why they are so successful.
My belief is it hard to take someone with a life in public service and put them into private enterprise. I’d say no to him.BOF and Dom are worlds apart. BOF did nothing but I’d back Dom to be a success.
The main reason the Roosters are so successful is their the governance.......or rather lack of.You don't care the boards experience?

NRL 2023: Ex-NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet backed for Wests Tigers job, Phil Rothfield | What’s the Buzz
Former NSW premier Dominic Perrottet is a hopeless Wests Tigers’ tragic.
He lost the state election in March and has since had more time for family and footy.
In the next six months there is talk the ex-premier will quit politics for a career in banking, media, law … or possibly even rugby league.
His beloved Wests Tigers are staring down a second consecutive wooden spoon.
The club that hasn’t played finals football for 12 years.
You can blame Tim Sheens, Benji Marshall, previous coaches, recruitment, Lee Hagipantelis or Justin Pascoe … it doesn’t matter.
This club needs new people on board with fresh ideas.
Perrottet is the perfect fit. As a director or as chairman.

A mad Tigers fan, Dominic Perrottet could emerge as a surprise saviour for Wests. Picture: Mark Evans.
The ex-premier is apparently in a world of pain like all other long-suffering Wests Tigers fans over the team’s constant failures.
In April this year the Wests Tigers made an important board room change.
Their best director, Simon Cook, stepped aside for John Dorahy.
As he departed Cook said: “I believe that Wests Tigers needs change and regeneration.
“It is time for Wests Tigers to look to new people with the right skill set who can provide the club with the success our loyal fans deserve.”
This was a telling statement.
I’m told Perrottet, if approached, would be keen to get involved once he steps out of politics, most likely by Xmas.
The club needs his expertise as much as they need a halfback and chief playmaker.

He can't keep himself away from it. By appointing Fulton he's in it up to his eyeballs. At the moment, even that is seeming as another bad move.Pascoe has done a pretty decent job with the financial side of the business, please just keep him away from the football department.

I'm really not sure what you're getting at. AP Eagers was extremely successful and has developed some very powerful connections. Mark bouris on the board, same deal.I care about experience but let’s face it, Politis is a car salesman who has evolved over time, so it’s what you do with what you’ve got
When did Hagipantelis stop calling Sheens “the great man?”It wouldn't surprise me that Hagipantelis is holding court with the threat of taking his sponsorship and walking, and claiming that the club will not be able to get a major sponsor that would put in as much as he does, and it will leave the club financially struggling. Then Pascoe is supporting this case and adding fuel to the fire.
Sounds overly dramatised to me.When did Hagipantelis stop calling Sheens “the great man?”
My guess is, when Pascoe felt he was in a power struggle? Demoting Sheens obviously wasn’t the answer, the old codger still wanted success.
The power struggle continues 🤣
When Buzz reported Sheens wouldn’t see out his contract, I don’t think he made up that stuff?
Meanwhile, Pascoe and his attack dog continue to show us why they should be somewhere else.
😂 what do you think is the motivation behind the secretive hiring of Fulton?Sounds overly dramatised to me.
I saw someone Tweet:Maybe a candidate from left field

If Wests Tigers were a competent team - the financial side would be glowing. I do not understand the point here. Keep him away from the organisation. With success comes the spoils - a life raft in a vast ocean vulnerable to the winds, tides and storms will not cut it.Pascoe has done a pretty decent job with the financial side of the business, please just keep him away from the football department.
