The only dribble I see is your opinion on something you have no clue about and casting aspersions about others who put their names & faces to something and provide an informative podcast listened to by more people than you could ever imagine.

I think we are so desperate to recruit that even a promising first meeting or two we would hear about .Just like the story on the Fainu Bros
Fulton has had zero success so far and its really really difficult as we are regarded as a bit of a laughing stock with factional divides and always losing
The media especially Fox perpetuate our reputation almost daily
Our CEO / Chairman with their Fulton appointment kept from the head coach also further perpetuates our reputation .
Pascoe with his "tales from Tiger town " airing all the dirty laundry which no other club would do was a massive mistake

You don't think a player manager would leak something like this to someone who talks on a weekly podcast which garners a lot of attention? Inadvertently knowing that this news could make its way back to the club? I know Rob Bechara isn't popular on here but let's not make it out as if player managers are people with integrity.

You make a great point about the talent coming from other catchment areas, though I think the priority has to be recognition, as long as we can recognise who the talent is and go bring it to us it will be fine.

Absolutely. And in someways this is an example of us starting to get it right.
Look around the league plenty of ‘household names’ are from other starting points.
There are good kids from our catchments in our lower grades, but we can’t rest on our laurels believing they are the best kids just because they are locals

no news mate just going off the article that we are looking at Croft as he has the nrl clause where we need to pay a 100k plus transfer fee if we want him.
Honestly we are scraping the barrel with Croft let alone having to pay for the privilege of getting a release.
If we can't get Trindall then try again for mitchell pearce or Dodd
Croft couldn't play well in the storm system or the Broncos he will not be the answer here.
Would look at Sezer before Croft

They play dirty, but they do what's best for their
clients. Rob is passionate but rubs a lot of folk
the wrong way. Tartak is as polished as they
come, they leak to media not pod guys smh

I, I just can't believe this is where we are at. Aiden Sezer was rejected by us and the forum 4-6 years ago when he was looking to remain in the NRL.

Brodie Croft is a massive ??? From what I hear he is on a long term contract in Super league and really doing good there. Look he was a fringe grader but ma have improved a fair bit. Could be anything from a Josh Reynolds to a Burton for us.

This is a bad solution IMHO. We should sign 1x half and save the money for the youngsters. ....

The more I think about this, the more I go "how did we get here?" simple we could not say "NO" as a club to Doueihi nor Brooks. We should have told one of those two to look elsewhere. Instead we punted Hastings who actually did Ok-ish by us for less coin.
