The Knights are still paying half of Klemmer's $800,000 salary for this season. At $400,000 for 2023, the Tigers have picked up Klemmer for a steal. Especially considering the Tigers were meant to be paying Zane Musgrove (released to the Dragons) in excess of $500,000 for the next two years. https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/wh...r-money-signings-of-2023-20230129-p5cgb2.htmlBut where have you heard this? I was of the belief that Klemmer would only be released on the condition Knights don't contribute.
Edit*5-10mins on google and can not find anything suggesting Knights are paying any of the contract.
His knee is cooked mate, he's not a 5/8 either unfortunately.Onward & upwards.

good signing a signing for the future along with Fainusullivan done 3 years
If he is playing next year the club 100% doesn't view him as a half. He was already falling out of favour. Expect him as a centre or even a lock if he can bulk up.His knee is cooked mate, he's not a 5/8 either unfortunately.
centre maybe ?If he is playing next year the club 100% doesn't view him as a half. He was already falling out of favour. Expect him as a centre or even a lock if he can bulk up.
If it’s true, and both Sullivan and Fainu work out, it’s great that they are off contract at different times.good signing a signing for the future along with Fainu
Nice to read we are on the same page for once! This pack has been found to be severely lacking - Despite the anticipation you'd expect on paper....
I've seen nobodys like Tom Hazelton from the Sharks punch holes in them.
Klemmer has fallen off a cliff and not offering much more than Tamou was
(His pausing before the line in borderline disgusting)
Stefano has plateaued again...
The only upside to our pack this year has been Pole again, Although it's also been a long season for him.
Only problem with that is his defence is shoddy and someone like KP or Walsh will only expose him more now.centre maybe ?
I think he has a role to play. But due to his size he is lacking the punch you get from a backrower and he in turn plays a more unstructured style. Our team would improve immensely if we send him back to the UK and recruit a younger, bigger, hungrier, more aggressive back rower such as Josh Curran who will struggle to fit in the Warriors top 17 when they are full strength, therefore there must be a chance they would release him from his contract with then early if he was desperate enough to return back home to a Sydney based club.
Willison from the Broncos would probably be even better if that rumour was true, but I find it very hard to believe the Broncos would let a young emerging brute of a forward like him go.
Locker is seriously underrated footballerIt also shows a lack of knowledge from Tony. Hawkins was used extremely poorly by Demetriou by playing him as a direct replacement for Cody. He just isn't that type of player. Imagine putting Coopet Cronk at 6 to replace Lockyer and get him to play the exact same role, it just isn't his game.
It’s ok some people will not be able to cope with following a team that’s winnings, for them they are more comfortable following a bottom end team and putting in the boot at every opportunity. Don’t worry winning will bring silence….
No I am pointing out you were wrong about a lot of things, you said Hastings would take the Knights down the table, Brooks has a decent pack of forwards for the first time in his career and we will see him play better, the Tigers will finish above the Knights and Hastings is on $900k a year. You were wrong on every prediction, but you keep wanting to deflect.851 does
Definitely freeing up money for Hass to stay you’d think. Especially when they have Ben Te Kura waiting in the wings who could be on a lot less and offer just as much for them as a back up.Xavier Wilson expected to be dropped to reserve grade this week in favour for Brandon Piakura.
Maybe those Wests Tigers links could be true.
Just to counter your comment though. The Titans have an entire backline of players that are as quick as To’a and as large as Tupou. Both Fifita and Sami are big fast backs!Take a look at the attacking threat the Gold Coast have and it’s largely due to their flying winger.
Bevan French or Xavier Savage on one wing would give us something similar,
We need a big body such as Junior Tupou on the other wing and I think Charlie Staines could transition into a very good centre.
To’a will do me to remain as our other centre.
How do you see the Future? No clue.... if I was a betting man it would be Seizer 6 and Sullivan 7.
Fainu to get some games in Cup and slowly transition him to 6 mid year (similar to Bula)
That’s true but it’s the speed of Alofiana-Khan that contributes to many of their attacking raids, line breaks and tries.Just to counter your comment though. The Titans have an entire backline of players that are as quick as To’a and as large as Tupou. Both Fifita and Sami are big fast backs!
I’ve mentioned it previously. Stef is very quiet at the start of the contest. Klemmer is consistent but consistently 1 dimensional where as when Stef comes on gang busters in his second stint and runs with purpose. Where he lets me down is his lack of intensity off the ball, I hope Woodsy isn’t his mentor…We're all still talking about Poles' ball returns in second half against the Raiders....
- the 20 year old with less than 20 games under his belt...
We've apparently got one of the highest rated young props in the game, And a bloke who's played at the highest level on 850k a year....
I've barely seen either one bruise a grape all year.
I’d take Savage or Sloan and play either as out and out wingers who at a pinch can cover fullback. Not sure if we’d be first choice for them though. That’s true but it’s the speed of Alofiana-Khan that contributes to many of their attacking raids, line breaks and tries.
We need something similar on one wing and there are options such as Bevan French back from the Super League, Xavier Savage who has dropped way down the pecking list at the Raiders and even Treigh Stewart from the Dragons NSW Cup team.
All three are prolific try scorers who very rarely get caught when in the clear.
