The Knights are still paying half of Klemmer's $800,000 salary for this season. At $400,000 for 2023, the Tigers have picked up Klemmer for a steal. Only problem with that is his defence is shoddy and someone like KP or Walsh will only expose him more now.
He is tall enough that if he bulks up he could be a ball playing middle. His front on defence is better than his lateral. Also, he probably dinted the line more than anybody in our team the last few years, could see him playing like a Yeo

I think he has a role to play. But due to his size he is lacking the punch you get from a backrower and he in turn plays a more unstructured style.
He still is a world class back rower from experience. I’d love him to put on a few pounds but it doesn’t look like his body allows for it. In our best side, he would be off the bench playing 50-60 minutes playing the Cam McInnes role just getting stuck in to every runner and using his wrestling skills in tackles.

No I am pointing out you were wrong about a lot of things, you said Hastings would take the Knights down the table, Brooks has a decent pack of forwards for the first time in his career and we will see him play better, the Tigers will finish above the Knights and Hastings is on $900k a year. You were wrong on every prediction, but you keep wanting to deflect.
I have never said Brooks is the reason we suck, I said he is the 7, and big part of what needs changing, not that it was all on Brooks.
I actually got onboard the Brooks hype even though I wanted him gone last year, I wanted him to succeed, but he didn't, there are no more excuses for him.
But I stand by my opinion, that Hastings is not going to get you to a premiership, or top 4, but for all his faults, he is a better 7 than Brooks.

Definitely freeing up money for Hass to stay you’d think. Especially when they have Ben Te Kura waiting in the wings who could be on a lot less and offer just as much for them as a back up.

Just to counter your comment though. The Titans have an entire backline of players that are as quick as To’a and as large as Tupou. Both Fifita and Sami are big fast backs!

Sullivan 7 or Latu 7. I see the composure in Latu more than Sullivan who plays more erratic.
That said, I would prefer we start with Latu and Sezer and have Sullivan as 14.

That’s true but it’s the speed of Alofiana-Khan that contributes to many of their attacking raids, line breaks and tries.
We need something similar on one wing and there are options such as Bevan French back from the Super League, Xavier Savage who has dropped way down the pecking list at the Raiders and even Treigh Stewart from the Dragons NSW Cup team.
All three are prolific try scorers who very rarely get caught when in the clear.

I’ve mentioned it previously. Stef is very quiet at the start of the contest. Klemmer is consistent but consistently 1 dimensional where as when Stef comes on gang busters in his second stint and runs with purpose. Where he lets me down is his lack of intensity off the ball, I hope Woodsy isn’t his mentor…
I believe our issue is shape. I can’t see how the powers to be can’t see it but we have two very upright runners just crashing into the line trying to get meters. I would be giving Aitsi or Pole the 8 jersey and bringing Stef off the bench, maybe next season dropping Klem back to bench middle of game forward.

I’d take Savage or Sloan and play either as out and out wingers who at a pinch can cover fullback. Not sure if we’d be first choice for them though.
