Feledy is super strong. He looks unfit to me. Needs to trim down about 5kg. I'm sure he will stay strong but greatly improve is lateral movement as a result if he does that.

If it’s true we’re showing interest in Best, then whoever twigged that it would be a good idea to chase an Origin centre for a change deserves a pay rise. What a novel concept.

Feledy has a really good combination with Jay Kirk. This should be nurtured with a view to both progressing as a pair. We should be able to produce our own junior wingers without going to market. The cap won't allow a balanced team otherwise.
Probably because it happened after he was signed - club can't be expected to predict the future

Luke Laulili’i is the guy. he’s on development next year and will fly thru the grades. Australian Schoolboy at 17. ultra quick and devastatingly powerful. his carries out of his own end are To’o-esque. he is the one.

It's good to read WTs has identification, retention and development going well. I admire all the work put in at the junior level to develop these players even the mums and dads who turn up to train and manage the boys and girls.
What a wasted talent. Would of gone onto be a top shelf centre.
I like Karnib as well from that side. Any talk re his progression?

Best had a dream origin game, in all honesty did anyone expect him to do that in an origin game.
I'm sure every Blues supporter hoped like hell that he didn't have a shocker and get a whole 10 minutes to show his wares like Nicho and Steff did before getting hooked.
Let's face it the dynamic duo of Fittler and Brandy got really lucky with that selection and I guess just going on the balance of probabilities you are bound to get lucky once in a while and it doesn't have to have anything to do with being a great coach or being a genius at spotting talent.
Not saying Best won't go on to be a great player but let's face it, things like people having a stand out game happens from time to time, look at Starford Toa owning Valentine Holmes, shows he has ability and the potential to be a great player but being consistent, keeping your head in the game, and producing it week to week is another matter just like being equally good at defence as you are at attack.
He is 21 years old mate.
Barely at the beginning of his career and he was sensational in the origin arena. One of the best young centres going around. He'd walk into our side.
Probably 2 years away from realising his true potential which would happen to be when we picked him up - if we're actually able to close out a deal with him.
