Of course not, but tonight and a couple of others games at the least, we were robbed.

Nowhere near good enough for the 8, but I think we've been better than the other couple of teams near the bottom with us. We have been a lot closer in most of our games, much closer than we should have been given our injuries in key areas.

Majority of the season we had Wakeham in the halves. Wakeham.

So if we came 15th instead of 17th you'd be happy? It was a failure of a season regardless.

Some good hitups to advantage & played the linkman quite well actually instructing players around him. Something we have missed all season.

This place will still harp on about how ‘shit’ our forward pack is. Get a grip our backs are rubbish & it’s why we can’t win games.

No one has ever claimed our pack is shit. In fact most on here 'harp on' about how good it is. I say this as someone who has criticised aspects of our pack many times and been hounded for it (not complaining about that either, typically enjoy hearing alternate views). We IMO have a mid tier pack.

Partially, showing what he’s got with new found freedom that his hammy is better and his future is sorted. And he will have some better players around him.

No. I think he has always run when the forwards have given him a chance. Early in his career the forwards were slightly below average so he only occasionally ran. Then our forward quality further diminished and he ran less. This year the forwards are ok so he is back to running.
I would agree that some players, and it would only be very few, only put in when looking to sign a new contract. I do not believe Brooks is one of them (can discuss reasons if you Iike).
I don't think any player already signed for the following few seasons would suddenly alter their playing style or effort in any way to please or appeal to their future club. I mean he has already proved what he has to for Manly to sign him. He can do nothing now to improve that contract. Anything he does between now and Rd 27 will mean little to Manly compared to what he does in their colours next preseason.

Totally agree but it frees him up, so he is slightly different from that freakish character earlier in the year.
He’s not altering his playing style , he’s just more relaxed. Now please, no more talk about this , we can agree to disagree .

I like Charlie and used to like Nofa coz he could sniff out a try and took the ball up but think he needs to be shopped around, swap him for Olam.

But it’s over Jnr, we get the rough end of the pineapple most weeks but nothing ever happens. Remember the Cowboys game, we were going to sue in the High Court but what happened , a friendly pat on the shoulder from PVL and it was forgotten.
I’ll almost guarantee when we start to be a hot side ( if that ever happens) calls will go our way all the time .
