LIVE GAME Round 23 vs. Raiders

Live Game Discussion
Yet another example of incompetent officiating deciding a match. The NRL will trot out their usual fall guy replete with apologies and excuses but fat lot of good that will do us as usual. And the idiot who failed to see an obvious and blatant forward pass will back up next week-also, as per usual!
i don't think it is incompetent. The NRL and Foxtel, Nine are manipulating the whole ladder situation to maintain interest right up until the last round. The average fan wouldn't have a clue what the actual top 8 is with the manipulation of the byes. Theoretically the bulldogs in 15th place can still make the 8 according to the ladder - the whole NRL is a manufactured entertainment farce.

True but feeling sorry for yourself and blaming it on the refs achieves nothing. We need to improve our attack if we want to compete in the NRL.
Ur 100% wrong we did score enough points to win , it’s not like the forward passes were just forward they were massive errors, for once even the blokes calling the game said so . We are really getting the wrong end of the pineapple every week , so yes we can blame theses crap officials

So you think our attack is good enough to be a top 8 team?

you forgot no Brooks in 2024 either... without hom and Api today we were no chance
I actually never mentioned anything about without those 2 we were no chance. They’re your words not mine, I was just making a few observations with out getting carried away. See how good these Ativan tablets are !
And , as such, I really don’t care about anyone who’s leaving.
Our halfback next year is either Sezer or Sullivan so that’s all we need worry about.

The effort was there to a certain extent, but nobody really hitting hard enough to worry the Raiders ball runners and very few of our players running with the right intent to break a tackle or make a line break.
I’ve seen a few of our fans bagging To’a, but he seems to be the only one in our 1-5 that at least threatens to bust a tackle each time he runs the ball.
In the forwards it’s only really Papali’i and James shows signs he can scatter defenders.

I was only trying to be polite when I ascribed their lousy performance to a lack of competence.

All you Nofo haters are obsessive .He created one try and scored another .Sure he tried a desperate offload with 2 mins to go which didn't come off . I'm more concerned with some forwards continually burning 4th and 5th tackles with no intention to offload .
And to all The Brooks haters he was close to the best on field over both teams .Such on that !
Brooks was actually given player of the match from the radio commentators

This place will still harp on about how ‘shit’ our forward pack is. Get a grip our backs are rubbish & it’s why we can’t win games.
Ok numbers but how creative were they. Actually how creative was the team, saw a lot of 5 hit ups and a kick. Weren’t we hoping to change that in 23, that’s more Madgeball.
And API not running much from dummy half ( like Cook, Grant etc).

That's so far away from what the discussion was about.

Of course not, but tonight and a couple of others games at the least, we were robbed.

Nowhere near good enough for the 8, but I think we've been better than the other couple of teams near the bottom with us. We have been a lot closer in most of our games, much closer than we should have been given our injuries in key areas.

Majority of the season we had Wakeham in the halves. Wakeham.
