What concerns me is Benji’s involvement has been our red zone attack which is our biggest problem. Oh also the fact he will be head coach with less than a years’ experience coaching at any level.

Both of your examples were extremely short lived before devolving further, and I am not confident of the upcoming one being any different.

Benji was always the plan.

Pole is often overlooked in conversation, but he's been very impressive for a young middle forward thrust into a full time starting role.

All the talk of future forward success tends to focus on Utoikamanu, Pole is just as good.

Pole is more the player who does everything right in relation to quick play the balls and a bit of footwork whereas Stef is more of a bash and barge and slower to wind-up.

I think Pole has been better than Stef this season. I'm not sure who will be better longer term.

I'm not sure what I think but the coaching staff haven't handled this year well at all. They've made a lot of mistakes.

The problem is Benji is a key part of the coaching team.

Still I'll look on the positive. I like Benji and he seems to have a bit of attitude and maybe that can drive us forward.

Why aren't we dominating? Paps, Klemmer, Stefano, Twal, Bateman, Pole... Take Bateman out of it, why aren't we dominating.

Stef has been inconsistent. Klemmer has been good but not great and he has fallen off at the backend of the year. IP has taken a bit of time to gain some form. I'm fine with him out there now.

Twal and Pole have been real good but they aren't big bash and barge type players.

We don't have any forwards like Nelson or Hass or Fifita. We just compete and compete well but we don't have guys that make busts and run over the top of people. Stef does but he isn't consistent.

The pack is good but they lack impact. Bateman can provide a bit of impact because he does some different things but he is also a small backrower and I think he needs the team to get on top prior to creating something.

I hope next year the coaching staff work out how to get more out of our pack.

I don't think it matters. All that matters is results. Maybe he'll try some more things and maybe it'll come off. I'm not stressing until we see the results and we can't get any worse.
