The 32-year-old will return to the NRL after four seasons in the UK Super League, where he is currently playing for Leeds Rhinos.
Before moving to England Sezer played 155 games across eight seasons in the NRL, including a Grand Final appearance for the Raiders in 2019.

Wests Tigers assistant coach Benji Marshall, who will move into the head coaching role next season, says Sezer will bring a wealth of experience to the club.
“We are very excited to have a player with Aidan’s experience and calibre to add to what we’re building for our future,” said Marshall.
He’s a very good person and we look forward to what he can bring to our club on and off the field.

“His experience will complement our youth and he’ll help mentor our younger players, particularly in our spine.”
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe is pleased to welcome Sezer to the club.
“It’s great that Aidan has decided to return to the NRL with us,” said Pascoe.
On behalf of the club, I welcome Aidan and his family to Wests Tigers.”

It's a pretty dud signing to me but it's for one season so I don't see any downside.

I don’t see a downside to this.

His main purpose is to give support and be a playing mentor for young brigade coming through. It’s to be the foil for Sullivan who has been behind Hunt since his debut.

This allows Sullivan to bed down the role next year and bring Fainu up to speed over the next 12-18mths.

He instantly makes our side better for next season.

All of a sudden we go from having Brooks and an NQR order of halves to Sezer, Sullivan and Faniu. 2 of the best young halves under 21 running around. It’s a very very clear statement to our direction as a team.

it was looking dire there for a little while, but the club has done very well to shore up its depth in the halves. Sezer, Sullivan, L. Fainu and Galvin all ready to go for preseason with Doueihi due back at some point. excellent work WT.

Sezer is a smart signing for ‘24. an experienced head who will assist Api in leading the side around and carrying out Marshall’s game plans. can throw a cutout both sides, still has an elite short kicking game and his mentoring skills will go a long way. welcome Aidan!

To think...
Shuster and his agent valued him at 1.2m a season and expected us to take him.

Played 20 minutes off the bench last week and did nothing, now dropped to reserve grade.

😂😂

Bet they can't wait till Talau and Brooks arrive... another two who'll be dropped after no time.

Been hearing about directions for nearly a decade now. There’s only so much talk some of us can take.

Watch them lose Olakau'atu next year too bro
He'll go to market, they can't afford an upgrade
which he richly deserves. Can't stand Manly lol

I can see Manly trying to unload him to Saints . It all depends what Flanno thinks of him.
Schuster can play, he just needs a coach that can control him and make him do the work before the flash.
