In other news, the Stef and Pap to Parra rumour is gaining traction. Any other club you would just brush it off, but it’s us after all. It’s an annual event to have an off season of attention where we grant releases to key players. And sometimes coaches

Where is the Stef and Pap rumour gaining traction? I've seen 1 gutter jounalist literally speculating wildly about Stef on the back of some flimsy Pap rumour

The Stef part of this rumour is why I think it's rubbish. He left Parra due to the way they treated his brother after a serious injury.
He might leave WT in the future but it won't be to go to Parra.
Recently said he wants to captain the Tigers.
Despite the dark years, especially 2022 and 2023, there's something special building at the club.
The curse will lift, 2k24 and we'll see it'll take shape 💫🔥

If we somehow start 2024 with either Stefano or Papalili not in the squad then pass me whatever petition I need to sign to make sure Pascoe never enters Concord again……
Papalili and Stefano are our best forwards right now at the club and they better be treated like that if they do ask for a release. My mail though is Stefano’s happy at the club, however unsure on Papalili’s status.

Well I thought he did a reasonable job at Cronulla under difficult circumstances. Should bring new ideas from stronger clubs.
And, of course, if Benji doesn’t work out, then can step straight in.

Papalil'i never wanted to join us and only reluctantly did once forced to honour his contract. He's been decent but no where near his Parra form, whether thats not us using him correctly or a desire thing i dunno.
I wouldn't be surprised if he hasnt been looking for an exist the whole time hes been here.

It’s gaining traction because Read is guessing and sprouting it on 360 so the fanboys are running with it.
Remember this time last year he wasn’t coming which Read started also.
Read also at one point said Api will start looking just before he extended. He has zero clue.

I’m gonna say I think he’ll stick. He knew our issues before he got here and as we see him as part of our solution he needs to give us at least another year.
