Players that declined after leaving Wests Tigers

Bronson Harrison is another that never kicked on like i thought he might. Never really had the highest hopes for him but i thought he would have amounted to more than he eventually did. Another Kiwi rep in his time here i believe.

Tough Question the other way around is much easier! That's a long list .

I mean how far back do I need to go to make the point? You'd be lucky to get legitimately a dozen players that clearly improved AFTER leaving Tigers. E.g. Tedesco, he didn't get better, he was just more successful. Scott Prince did great after he left Tigers, but he also did great at Tigers.

I tend to agree with your comments of teddy. He did seem to improve his passing game at roosters but maybe that’s because he had no one to pass to at tigers.

Peachy now a regular center with the top team .With us couldn't even make the bench
Kevvie might argue re Madden
Zac Cini couldn't decline he was already rock bottom with us
A few others are matters of opinion but I'm soooo impressed with your homework that's a well compiled list
Benji is the obvious decline because the bar was very high with us

That's the Problem.... (Most fail to see)
It's highlighted quite clearly in @jirskyr post....

We've fielded so much Dross in the last decade - You'd barely put together a 1st grade NRL side with the last 100 players we've given a Jersey to.
The fact a player like Ava Seumanufagai played over 100 games in his 5 Seasons with us (Almost every game)
Then went on to play 13 in 2 years at the Sharks tells you all you should need to know.

We've had 1st graders coming through, And that's why we haven't made finals.
There's been a tonne of blokes who were passed it and others that wouldn't have got a start at any other club.

Our team has been so poor, That we some how convince ourselves these blokes are first graders....
I see it happening now with Blokes like AJ.

The ones that were actual first graders - We lost or didn't even give a real start, Like:
Marshall King
Papenhuyzen
Tatola
Te Maire
Don’t forget The Fox

Funny that.....
He's been dross over there - Considered our best player here by some (Even still)
They wouldn't miss him if he came back.

Whatever he was capable of last year, He's been a far cry from it this year - At either club.
Maybe that's why he was dropped earlier in the year, And maybe that's why he was eventually sold off.
Maybe that's what happened after he got a big deal at the Broncs and they sold him off...

Maybe (Just maybe) it's not always the clubs fault....
We often mention bringing blokes down to our level when they arrive...plodders etc

Do you keep that list available for these threads. Well done.

That’s a deceptive list. It should be for players that played their best footy at the Tigers, then left and declined. Some of those players played their best footy elsewhere (rep level), joined the Tigers and turned to **** and stayed ****.

Tim Grant was a captain and rep player at Penrith. BJ Leilua was an absolute weapon at Canberra. Taylor, Maumalo, Mbye all played their best footy before the Tigers. Austin left the Tigers as a bench player/fill in and won Dally M five eighth and dominated for a couple of years at Canberra. There’s others.

Peachey is at the end of an origin level halves/fullback combination. He hasn’t improved, he just keeps better company.
