Season finally over - thank God. I am not getting any false hopes up for 2024, like I have the last few seasons. To be honest there are so many current players in our squad who are fringe first graders we probably need 10-15 new injections into our squad. The only current players that I feel are regular first graders are Bula, Staines, Tupou, Toa, Papali, Bateman, Api, Pole, Klemmer, Stefano and maybe Twal. That's 11 out of a squad of 30! Have I missed anyone - please tell me I have.

I'm all for signing JAC if he is available (I don't believe he is). But can we stop pretending Wests is in any way his 'home'

The backline is not up to scratch Toa, Tupou and Bula are talented and maybe Staines but we need strike players. Preferably players with speed and power we lack drive. Koula and Saab badly exposed them.

when we miss the semis in 2024 stef can negotiate with rival clubs for 2025 too
