Positives for the last year

Though entirely separate from my thoughts on the team's progression, these were my highlights.

My positives from 2023:
- Api Koroisau.
- Twal's first try 😍😍 seriously though I thought he showed another side/dimension.
- The Penrith and Cowboys wins.
- Bula. Had a great debut season, all things considered.
- The effort from our forwards.
- Staines, Tupou, Pole and Toa showed promise.
- Enjoyed watching Seyfarth and Blore. They aren't exactly earning the big bucks yet felt they were good for lifting the team's performances on several occasions.

1. Api- the best thing for the club for a while.
2. Bula - hope he signs a long term contract.
3. Klemmer and Stefano - both played well all year.
4. Bateman - a great addition always competitive.
5. Pole - improving every game.
6. Benji - looks committed to his coaching career.
7. Tupou - A great player in the making.

Feel free to keep adding your thoughts.
I would add Papalii, it is hard to find a hole to run without halves, and our halves were by miles the worst in the NRL!

Only positives I can think of
- Finding Jahream Bula
- Api Korisau
- That day at Leichardt when we finally clicked and put 66 pts on the Cowboys
( I think it was in in days following that great day that executive management decided to get involved in football matters and totally #*÷× ed it up )

First team in NRL history to finish the season in 17th position. We have successfully redefined what it takes to win the spoon.
Now we have the off season to look forward to the WT spin doctors fabricating stories about our fantastic comeback in 2024.
Rinse, repeat.

Fluffy the cat had a litter of 5 kittens so Justin and Lee can highlight the fact that despite us going back to back with the spoon we have 5 new enthuastic members.Free drinkies at the next board meeting because the board has just reached another challenging KPI they have set themselves

There were 20 teams in the first NRL season so we've still got room to move.
Wests, BTW, come 20th that year.

I think the biggest positive to come out of 23 was
Luke Brooks celebrating his 200th NRL appearance with Wests Tigers by steering the club to a record 66-18 defeat of Cowboys at Leichhardt Oval.
It’s a record that could last for a very long time, but more importantly it showed what WT could achieve with the right attitude and desire/motivation.
With former team-mates, including Mitchell Moses and Josh Reynolds cheering on from the hill, it was a clinical and professionally executed shut out.

The Forum- this forum- sticking together by and large - in another year of misery. Without you guys - all of you - every single poster and non poster - there would be no life rafts in what seems to be a sinking ship atm. We might disagree - bag each other - but you guys are a constant. Consistent in your passion. I salute you all. Every single one of you.👊 Without you - there is no team. No Wests Tigers.

I believe we are headed for success, however when is the question.

Agree that with an organising half we can turn the next seasons results around as the Warriors have done this year from 15th to 4th and the Broncos before them.

I’m excited for next year and will rest up a few weeks watching the finals again without the team I support in them, before getting through to March with excited hope ( maybe wishful thinking) by watching the NFL and NBA.

This forum is vital to keeping the faith be it blind faith we all or should I say most share the same passion.

The win at Leichhardt 66-18 was my highlight along with Twal scoring his try and Api kicking the goal in the Fins game to win.

Keep the faith that’s all we have….
