Positives for the last year

Can only think of 2
Beating the premiers with 90% completion in the pouring rain
Putting 66points on the Cowboys .What a great team we had that day . What the hell happened after that ? Justin ?
Fans deserve answers as to what happened after we thrashed the Cows and then scraped past the Dragons. That was so weird that it must be mental. Until that's admitted by coaches etc, the Tigers will never get anywhere. They have been choking under pressure for a decade now, again and again. Last year they were less than the sum of their parts.

The moment that the Tigers do well and the media makes a fuss about them, listen to the interviews. The players always speak as if they'd actually won something. Watch the good players in other teams. They usually deflect any praise back to the team and avoid one of the worst things that can happen to a player - ego inflation. Check out Dylan Edwards - he accepts zero personal compliments, and his mental game is rock solid.

You could tell that a bit of ego slipped into the Broncs once they reached 24 last night. Complacency brought its usual reward - losing. Tigers are especially notorious for failing when:

1) expected to win
2) need to win to achieve something.

They would have lost against a depleted Dolphins too except that Api heroically dragged them over the line like Clearly did for Riff last night.

If Benji and co now realise that the team desperately needs a top notch sports psychologist to get their heads straight, that would be a positive.

Not signing Shulster!

Not signing Aiden Sezer... oh wait!

Well I guess we can add not signing Jerome Luai to that list, as I can't see how we would have the cap room.

Honestly, there were no positives.

Sure Bula did well. But not well enough to win us games.

According to signing suggestions and roumers thread Blore played the house down in the last 6 rounds !!?!?!?!

We sucked.

We totally sucked.
Were putting all our eggs in the 2005 squad and heck if 2024 is like 2023, WERE IN FOR A WORLD OF HURT!

Wooden Spoon 2024, or at best top 13.

Bula really has a long way to go.
That kid in his highlites vid that some blokes whinging about he backs up better than jahream
He needs to get involved more... But he has some serious ticker and doesn't lack.in the defense dept.... He was awesome on our line numerous times saving tries

Yea, but

Who wasn't seriously dissapointed with our performance by then.

Honestly when Des Haslier was fired by Manly, I would have fully backed the board to go to Sheens and offer a "early retirement" without him coaching 1 game... Full payout to get Des here.

No idea how Des would go, but I guarantee we would not have been 17th.

And if you took those defensive efforts out of his highlight reel I’d be pretty sure he wouldn’t be as gushed over as he is
