Tim Watsford ? Any Truth to this

Have just read through some background on this guy and it reads well. The rumour seems like it might have some legitimacy. It's a bit too specific to be made up.

If true, this looks like the worst signing since Jamal Idris.

We desperately need someone who can help build a footy club, not an events manager.

Fruit Pascals has had a good report card coming in, but it’s gone from bad to worse under his tenure. He has overseen some of the worst results at any club over an 8 year period. He needs to go. He won’t do it himself bcoz he loves being on the tv.

He's totally unimpressive as a CEO and his main claim to fame of being a good financial manager is overblown. I'm not saying Tim Watsford is the answer but he's worth looking at along with other quality applicants.

Def step up.
we need change in the head office
we also need to dump at least 4 board members and clean them out

I don't think Pascoe will be at the helm when 2024 kicks off....

I don't want anyone to lose their job but I think moving on Pascoe is a good decision. We've had too many years of ineptitude and although personally I have no idea who is too blame I think a change is a good idea.

Hopefully Pascoe goes, the board are getting nervous and they have found a higher level scapegoat to sacrifice this time.Yes Pascoe is poor but while the board is unchanged the main root of the problem is still flourishing

The quote from the Mole though

>Current CEO Justin Pascoe is under siege, with fans demanding change and the club board feeling the pressure to act after years of internal strife at the club.

The internal strife is caused by the Board not the CEO. You can remove the CEO for other reasons including on-field performance, but a new CEO doesn't fix the underlying strife caused by the ownership.

Agree but I'll take removal of the CEO as a good start.

Whilst most of us will be glad to see the back of Pascoe if and when it happens, his impact on the club financially is not overblown, if anything, it's underrated.

He has taken a club from being in debt, to solvent. Has secured and executed on the funding for the centre of excellence. Has acquired the funding for the upcoming centre at Campbelltown, has been able to produce enough funds to re-establish the junior pathways program in the Southwest, far greater than it ever was before and has facilitated the spending in the football department on a scale the club has never seen.

He has overseen the worst time in the clubs history from a football point of view, has made, in conjunction with the board, some of the worst and most baffling football-based decisions in the NRL era, yet, financially, he has literally transformed the club.

There are multiple variables that must be considered when talking about Pascoe's tenure, one of which is the financial improvement of this club, top to bottom.

Or, would you rather we be in the position we're in now from a football standpoint, but be broke on top of it? That would really be worrying.
